If you think that buy cause you said "CREATE" i think create is way off of this conversation..if they buy clean performance functional parts and you think thats not RICE ok think that and be happy.,,for me RICERS AND ANTIRICERS ARE THE SAME "#¤"#¤#

started taking the online classes and behind the wheel and all that stuff so i can get my license as soon as possible. On the first day of behind the wheel my dad gave me my first truck. 1994 chevy s-10 crashed, messed up engine halfway painted, crappy sound system, but i didnt care it was my truck. i knew how to drive manual before i was even tall enough to reach the pedals, but by the time i got my license at 16 i was the happies teenager in the world. Now it is my project truck :)

i got sucked into the car scene ever since i was a little kid. i was around 5yrs and the earliest memory i have is looking at my did drive his manual truck. i studied how the clutch and gears and gas was applied. i remember getting my first car game when i was 8 "grand tourismo 1" i could not stop playing that game until i get gt3 then gt4.. when i turned 14 i was anxious to get my license i even wrote an essay for school on why the driving age should be lowerd. when i was 15 and a half i

@alejandroxx13 dude i agree with you on the radio thing. i would much rather listen to the engine roar. im not an import tuner im more into the domestics but i dont hate imports just the ones that look retarded=rice. if you can keep a honda or any other import looking clean then theres no problem ;D i cant hate imports because my car, even though its domestic, it was built to compete against import cars and was designed to look seemingly like an import. i drive a 2005 dodge neon srt4 ;)

Im not going to argue on the best style of tuning or whether this is or not a crappy car. I love JDM and Honda's my favourite brand for lot's of reasons. Yet! I don't go to Ford videos and say "That car is crap" I like all makes of cars. I see no reason to hate them, unless you are one of those doll's that do everything other people do and say. I like M3s and Civics, is that a crime? JDM For Life!!!!!

thats how i am with people that live in my area, honda, integra, g35, silvia, sti, evo.. no matter what the car or its function, i will always respect the person behind the wheel because even though he or she might be in a shitty honda, they have put the time and effort into making their car the way they want it to look, and above all.. we all have one thing in common, our love and passion for cars.

Alright i love jdm , i bought my celica and it came with bodykit duraflex frontend bumper and quarters aluminum hood with a function fibreglass scoop , eibach lowering springs , cross drilled and slotted rotors and of course an engine swap which would be the awesome 3sgte (2.0L DOHC 16V Turbo.) and it rips and i got it for dirt cheap , now im just gunna dump money into the suspension and engine , so to all the people that instantly assume cars with bodykits are rice , wait tell you check the car

Ricers have evolved, that's what people fail to see. The new ricers are the kids that shell out ridiculous money for stupid parts only because they look cool, just like the original ricers. Original ricers had Altezza lights and gay body kits, the new ones just have similarly gay body lip kits, eBay headlights, and braces on their subframe braces and stupid towhooks that will get ripped right off if they got pulled hard.

i hate how people with "muscle cars" think they the shit just because they have a big ass motor with 8 pistons or more , it takes SKILL n WILL to make a 4cyl faster then shitty ass "American Muscle " all they do is buy an expensive ass car and leave it like that does people that they call "Ricers" can make a 1000 dollar Honda smoke does cars , i rather have an import all day n do work my self , at least i would be able to say " i BUILD this car from scratch unlike the muscle car fanatics
@SuperAnimekid

@serchmarc Because the original definition of RICE came from muscle heads who were getting beat by japanese imports and they called these cars rice burners. The modern definition of RICE came after the first FAST and Furious movie when all of the import guys went out and bought body kits they saw in the movie and put NOS stickers and other stickers all over their cars when they in fact did not have any of these things in their car.
@SuperAnimekid

@serchmarc Please explain to me how they are RICERS. I work with muscle cars and imports, and I have seen RICERS in both muscle cars and imports. These guys are creating clean performance functional cars without having to apply off the wall RICER body kits. So they have different wheels than stock, those wheels are light weight racing wheels that actually serve a purpose other than looking cool. Just so you know the def. of RICE is Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements.

@truelegendinblack hey, Cavaliers weren't that bad...did you know that they were sold in Japan as Toyotas? Or the fact that they raced in JGTC? Something to think about. Either way, I think that '90s were the golden years, just look at the Japanese industry at the time, from the abundance of proper FFs (Hondas) to over abundance of FR legends in their prime. The drifting was still young and so was the Honda "scene" in US, hot rods and lowriders galore - cars were still cool.

I know when you pull up to a parking lot and pop the hood.. and everyone sees what you have built under there, It gets ALOT of respect. Another friend of mine built a b18c spec r civic hatch to 232hp all motor. People are impressed because he built that.. What im trying to say Is I want respect because of how good my driving is.. So in the time that it takes to build up a car.. I could be pushing these already fast beasts to there limit, being the best I can be. Just my opinion.

I understand what he is saying with the ricers and shit.. I would classify myself sorta as a ricer, I drive stis,300z's ( all jdm) Etc. As far as I go is BPU, with suspension set ups and thats good enough. (I do put body kits on as well) I Dont have the time and patience to build up a car (money as well) . My friend does with his 88 mustang he has been building up for 3 years. 2 different types of people, Im trying to be the best driver out there.. not get proud of something i built.

True but the thing that makes JDMs great is that most of them(Skylines, Silvias, Supras and EVOs) can handle twice their original output. Like you, I'd rather have a Ferrari than a jumped up 800bhp Skyline. But great European cars come at a price. Now, if you're in the tuning business, European means Saxos and Astras and so suddenly the JDMs begin to have some appeal.

Honestly, the Integra was one of the best cars honda made (not counting the s2000 and NSX) It had one of the most powerful engines honda made (142hp out of 1.8L non-vtec) and handles nice with an upgraded suspension. Everyone used to swap in the B18 into everything that had a single cam (and still do since kswaps costs so damn much)

Straight up, just cus the engine is built differently, doesnt mean you should hate, actually for people who live for this stuff, its fascinating. everyone using different style engines to get to that point, instead of dumbass's all using the same engine and aftermarket parts, though that would show driver skill :D

@truelegendinblack American car styling was in it's prime during the '90s, and so was the Japanese. Take the '93-97 Camaro for example, those were true modern muscle cars, none of the retro bullshit...seems like they ran out of ideas if you ask me. I mean, cars had soul back then.
