Hello, Costa Rican here!🙌🏼🇨🇷 Even though this pineapple looks delicious and the production in Costa Rica is pretty exclusive and secretive(btw, it’s not sold in national soil), the plantations in which the yellow and normal pineapples are grown has illegal and underpaid workers without a proper insurance, a heavy impact on the water quality of near communities and also a huge impact in general due to it’s monoculture plantations.
