Connor never got enough “pro” recognition. Definitely should’ve had a boot. He was so good and a cool guy. He was out cabin “counselor” at woodward one summer.

Connor O´Brien must have been the most underrated skater of all times. Jesus, the man had it all! Style, hard tricks, regular and switch for days, technnical and hammers, gaps and creativity. Thanks for posting these Jan! Amazing to see these in a raw format! Great stuff!

This was my favorite era of rollerblading. Don't get me wrong, because I love the technical innovative skating of today, but I miss these top guys doing great things.

That's true. Jon Elliot wasn't seen alot after the very early 2,000s. Funny thing is I learned about his name from the backslide plates he invented for Razors Cults.

Yessss. I am stoked about this. Leading the Blind to me was the peak of that generation of skaters. And Pat Lennen section was just jaw-dropping... I could watch the section all day and whoever picked the music ... BRAVO.

To me pat was one if not the best of the era who doesn't get brought up enough. He was all hammer. All killer no filler lol

@@justinwilliams5414 100% Justin. He was an absolute killer with making crazy stunts look so stylish. And he was tall too, those grinds don't come easy.

I loved Leading the Blind, but there was another (not 4x4) video that was up there with it. "Killer Boots" never got nearly as popular, but damn it also had good sections from guys of this generation (and my favorite Shima section ever).

I grew up blading during this era and man let me tell you i really miss some of the different sickest clothing companies i use to rock in highschool it was its own breed from 4x4 and i was a huge mindgame freak england senate ground control and the list goes on but fast forward 10 years later its all gone it really bums me out from time to time and tell myself what happen to all the sickest clothing companies are gone and went out of business

Probably the most diverse and random vault episode yet. That Nick Wood disaster KG or diaster tru miz (couldn't tell) reminded me...did you film the Jeff Stockwell disaster top porn on that rail for the intro to VG18? One of my all time favorite tricks ever done. Jeff has always represented the p-star so well when many people leave them out of their repertoire. At least the forward version...

I heard Nick Wood's skull hit the concrete in that clip. Did they went back to the "private property" a half an hour or a day later to land the 180 ? (not sure why people are so mad about this, it's just a "kid throwing himself over the rail" ) Also, I always wondered what's the context for the Pancho kink drop rail sweatstance ? He was shouting at the direction of the rail and it seems like two young women running in the other direction. Could you explain the context?
