Wes this series was inspired! Someone mentioned putting all three together. I would love that and get it! ♥

Thank you Lynn, I have edited the three videos together sans intros and surprisingly it is under 10 minutes! Will be uploading soon so folks can rock out to the whole thing without my commentary... :)

@@lynnm.8908 that’s good to hear! I think having both versions will be nice in case people want to just listen to it as music and let the poem build.

Wes, maybe you'd find interesting the " Kasidah " , extracted from the mid east, known to the Bedouin of the Ships of the desert, remembering of course they whom had walked before us so many centuries ago understood that they were far removed from future promise of Loves decree and a World of peace and harmony. Stay high, all the best regards from here on the West Coast side of Australia 🌏🖖

Peace Avon. I'm trying to look this up and only finding it spelled Qasida, and that it is an Arabic form of poetry that contains a single end rhyme repeated throughout the piece. If you have any that has been translated to english feel free to share, on my google search I wasn't able to find any but it sounds cool! Till the next episode....

@@wes_tank Yes that is accurate, I have a publication transferred into the English language so apologies for any misunderstanding regard the spelling. However, the particular translation that I have is very old, and I'm not even sure who was responsible for its translation though perhaps if you associate any search with Idriss Shah who first translated the Sufi text into the English language in the 70s, maybe that might make some link, hopefully. Meanwhile, I'll see what I can do to find some detail that may help and get it to you asap.

So I'm making this a separate comment because I want to see what everyone else has to say: I promise I'm feeling better than I did when this series first came out, but I have been grieving, and I'm wondering: Has anyone else who's gone through a period of grieving for someone who used to live with you experience the phenomena where you swear you can still faintly hear them in the house, then it turns out it's just something else? Even though my cat is gone now, I think it was last week or the week before where I could swear I could still hear her faintly, but then turns out it was just my H-VAC or something outside. I say all this to say the raven rapping, rapping at the author's chamber door is a perfect symbol of this.

Jess, glad you are feeling a little better. As always I appreciate your openness here. I can definitely relate to what you're talking about. I keep the art of loved ones who have passed on my walls and occasionally feel them peering over my shoulder when I'm slipping or propping me up during tough times. Happy days to you.

Hey Jess. I had my best friend, Chevy dog put down in my kitchen when he was at the end of his pawesome life. Poor pup couldn't walk and it wasn't in my heart to take him to vet and have it done. I had the best woman come in . He was very comfortable at home in his bed, in my arms. Hardest thing to do. Shortly afterwards, I started to feel better when I heard his paws twitching on the floor and could here is doggy dream noises at night. I knew his soul was still at home with me. When I moved, I told him he's not being left behind. He can come to the farm with me or move on. It was up to him. I had a new dog at this point. I dont think he came with us. I don't hear him anymore. I keep his ashes on my mantle. I still tell him I love him.

@@AnnahSoul I got Socks' ashes last week. It's winter now, but I was thinking of having a little memorial for her in the spring and scattering her ashes then, and inviting everyone who knew and loved her to come out. It might get crowded, depending on how many people can make it out, but I was thinking of scattering her ashes from the front porch. . . letting her outside one last time.

@@jessicaw9011 aww thats beautiful Jess. You should do that ❤ Socks would love to be outside one more time. Did she have a favorite type of plant or bush she liked to lay near? Could plant one with her ashes mixed into the soil. She can help grow something beautiful.

@@wes_tank Thanks Wes. I can't say I have wall art of past loved ones, but I do have a few things my great grandmother and her twin sister made. They both really liked to crochet, so I've got two blankets, a doily, and even a dress her sister crocheted for herself that ended up fitting me perfectly! (Oh wait no I forgot! I do have wall art-- my uncle was an artist. He sandblasted designs on mirrors, some were templates, some he made himself. I've got one we made together when I was a kid, and another that was a commission that was never picked up. The commission was an original design and it's so intricate, and I'm like, how?!)
