I feel like the two slow punches from Batista were half hearted as he probably didn't want it really and purposefully missed. Seen it before like a weird show of not being balless but halfway starting a fight at the same time. Problem is it's very stupid to try that and most don't have time for that bs. In short I think Batista really didn't want to fight as much as show he would.

The editing touches are another thing that makes WB such a special channel. Check out the dialogue stuff in the back half, where he highlights the speaker and grays out the other person then adding participants as they come into the scene. That's craft right there. Good stuff.

He won King Of The Ring in 2005, becoming King Booker. This is what made me finally stop watching wrestling. I couldn’t stand the King Booker gimmick, especially after having JBL, who was another character who made me stop watching, forced on us. Tried dipping in and out over the years since, nothings held my interest since though. Concentrate on classic wrestling, mostly from the 80s and 90s now. Mostly through this channel.

Finlay mentions Booker's black eye but doesn't mention that Batista bled. Why is that? I don't think Kurt mentions the blood either. Their stories can't be more true than Booker's.

I knew part of their backstage fight was about respect. The crazy part is that Booker fighting on Morrison's problem controlling his girl makes it that more ridiculous. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on what happened but Booker's side of the story seems the most accurate. Batista did acknowledge that he was wrong just wasn't gonna go into detail.

Yeah he even had heat with the undertaker. His attitude towards the smackdown locker room became so apparent that taker had to step in and talk some sense into Dave. Afterwards Dave started showing more respect to the guys on the blue brand. This was hot news. The sun newspaper covered this back in 06 or 07.

This was about Batista not liking smackdown. Batista once said that he felt that smackdown guys didn’t give as much effort as the raw guys. Booker heard about it and took offense to it.

Great video as always! I always like hearing about these kinds of stories. Also, I think it's pretty cool that both Booker and Batista basically settled their differences without too much drama. I can respect both of them for that.

One thing I've realized is when it comes down to fights like this in general. Usually the person who lost it and or was in the wrong, have a short blunt explanation. The one who wasn't looking for anything/victim has the better details. And have no reason to lie about it.

Met booker t when I was like 7 down here in Houston. My dad was the head mover of the company that moved bookers rings around for his lil organization he got down here and after the event my dad had to go pack up the ring so I went with got to play in the ring a bit then boom booker t pops up and I was like “sup sucka!” Gave him a good laugh then him and my dad smoked a blunt together because I remember seeing my dad roll at what I thought was just a “cigar” pretty crazy to look back and realize that 🤣🤣🤣

I love Booker, but his version is way too detailed. He recalled too much, plus if he really got work done, why would Sharmel have to get involved after the fight was broken up? I think he put a lil extra into the story. I think they were both rolling around on the ground, and no real advantage on either side. Too many people said over the years they did more arguing than actually fighting.

Physical altercations can be very easy to recall as they contain many senses. Go back and you might find you can remember highly charged moments very well. Also some people pen diaries which keeps incidents fresh as they're written the week of if not the same day.

Exactly. Not really sure why anyone but Morrison needed to get involved. It was none of anybody else’s business and if Morrison wasn’t going to handle it; that’s his problem. Pulling Melina into “wrestlers court”, while on tour in another country and with Batista not being there was a real bitch move on their part.

@@watchreport Agreed. Dave had every right to be as mad as he was. It also shows how cowardly they acted, by waiting until Dave wasn't around to pick on Melina. They would have never done that if he was there. Also, if they want to tell her anything, they should've have pulled Melina aside and told her or pull Nitro aside and tell him to handle his business.
