He was better than ralf ragnick but the problem with board is they lost 4-0 to watford. HOW CAN HE LOSE WITH RONALDO ON?, then ragnick went the same process and lost to brighton, sometimes it's about time and you gotta show believe in people rather than forcing them out, what if sir alex would have been sacked after 3 years when you won no silverware? @@ankushdixit4876 Ole wasn't tactical astute, but what he did shouldn't be undermined. Yeah, he shouldn't have been judged on the basis of few results but he was the manager and the boss. Although he was getting Ronaldo and he agreed to the deal, but what he needed was a good defensive midfielder and a reliable CB. Instead of addressing the issues in the squad, he went with emotions, so I'd say his downfall was his own making(along with incompetent board's)

Like Chiellini's pull back on Saka in the final of Euro 2020- which should have been a red card but as it was in the final minutes of the game it made no difference. I can see why players do it because the sanction of being sent off, particularly late in a game, is pretty weak.

Bless him. Best red card I ever saw. The ground he covered to try and get back was incredible. One of our greatest ever strikers. Probably didn’t get the plaudits of many of our other legendary strikers but he outlasted many of them at the club. Sad that injuries deprived us more of him in the latter years

This is impressive although think it’s a flaw in the system in football that you can deliberately foul and it can ultimately be to your advantage. I thought the same when Suarez did the deliberate handball against Ghana in the WC. It probably wouldn’t be practical, but in some situations a ‘penalty goal’, like a penalty try in rugby, seems like it would be a lot fairer.

imo it's one of the nice things about football. it creates interesting situations like this. fair or not fair, the simple rules allow many interesting things to happen. also why i think it would be better without var, because i think being able to trick the ref is also an impressive feat. In real life, it is also possible to trick the system, and the most interesting events (good or bad) happen when someone is able to do just that.

From my point of view, Ole-Gunnar did a great job as manager of Man Utd, and he should still be in charge ! As a manager you need support from the board as well, which he did not get. He didn’t have a big name like Mourinho, Guardiola, or Wenger coming to Old Trafford, and that was his “mistake”..🤮

I always find it interesting how Solskjaer does this and he's a hero but Luis Suarez saves one on the line with his hands in the World Cup and is a massive villain for it. They were both terrible, cynical fouls but both were the right thing to do given the situation.
