Turkish actress Filiz Ahmet was born on April 15, 1981 in the capital of the Republic of Macedonia. Filiz later moved to Sweden with her family. In this country, the girl entered the medical lyceum and became a specialist in the field of medical education, and then Filiz studied at the Turkish Theater Conservatory and began working in the theater. Filiz began her film career by starring in the Macedonian mini-series "Institution" which was released in 2002. In 2007, Filiz got the role of Zarife in the Turkish TV series "Farewell Rumelia" which made her famous in Turkey, and then she played roles in the films "The Goal of My Life" and "Guys of Another District". From 2011 to 2014, the actress played the role of Nigar Kalfa in the TV series "The Magnificent Century", which made her famous all over the world. Now the actress is filming in the series "Balkan Lullaby". During the filming of the series "The Magnificent Century", there were rumors about Filiz's romance with actor Okan Yalybyk. They reportedly dated for a few months before the couple broke up.
