Thank you for addressing this topic. I didn't realize how much stress my clutter was creating until I took steps to minimize it and be intentional with what I was allowing to come into my home.

Sophie, I agree & relate so much with this. Right now, I feel very overwhelmed with our house. I am working on decluttering my sewing / craft room & the more I clear out the better I am feeling. Since our house is 768 sq ft, my Hubby is having to put things in our living room so he can eventually paint my room & clean the carpet. Unfortunately, it's adding even more stress, but I keep thinking it will get better. My Hubby put shelves in my closet & then he brought a few things in & I kind of felt the stress creeping back up even though it was things I knew I would use. It is definitely making me think long & hard about what is coming back into my space. I've decluttered a lot, burnt a lot of personal papers & thrown some stuff away. Thank you. 😊

Great advice! ❤ As I’ve been decluttering my office, I’ve had to think through what I *actually* need and use -and stop the mindset to keep and organize something just because it’s useful and it’s there. As things leave, I find I’m more productive!
