KJ Pierce I see it as an example of both. There are a lot of possibilites in the world, and if you just put your mind to it, there's a lot that you could achieve. But it takes passion and determination. Then again, of course, there's also the whole soulless, greedy asshole thing, in jail. But I watch the movie (a bit ironically) for motivation sometimes

Jordan, Its not that his book was bad it had a little entertainment value, maybe I went into it with the wrong expectations. I expected it to have more educational value, but instead It felt like a lot of filler and a few tips here and there, it gave a structure for his system but not a lot of specifics, in all I think he is leaving out a lot of material. To me it seems like he wrote the book, not for educating but for another promotional platform for his business, i.e. seminars etc Though I could be wrong I'm all about people figuring things out for themselves. If you think it will help you don't let my thoughts defer you.

During this interview with Jordan Belfort, brought an epiphany into my train of thoughts. This interview maybe me realize that having challenges and objections is a significant obstacle to have because it helps you grow. Thus, those obstacles, with practice, guide you into a direction of internal and external strength. I truly loved this interview, and what Belfort talked about how success works. Tai Lopez, you are a great person, and hopefully some day we get a chance to meet to hear more about being successful. Thank you for this wonderful advice!

A criticism of the Wolf of Wall Street is it didn't show the impact on the people who he swindled. He cost people over $200 million. I wonder if a bunch of people's retirement was wrapped up in that money. He gives good advice on selling things to people-which can be good except if what is being sold is a sham.

In my youth, I once closed a client at his mom's funeral. Between my first call and the end of the week his mom died but I needed to close the deal selling magazine advertising. The rapport I built with the client allowed me the chance to interrupt his grief with business. Jordan B would be proud. Thing then was I didn't like being a salesman but I knew how to get it done. Its all about building rapport quickly. Now I understand sales to be life itself.

The world is dog eat dog, but we aren't dogs. We're human beings. I think painting Jordan as a good man is a lie, but painting him as a bad man is also wrong. I have an ambivalent view of him. I respect his charisma and ability to succeed, but I detest the fact that he would throw someone under the bus if it meant a buck. I think he also has an ambivalent view. On one hand, the only thing that matters is the bottom line. The sell is the most important part. However that happens is of no concern, but I think if he were face to face to one of the human beings he fucked over, and had to look them in the eye, his humanity would kick in and he'd genuinely feel remorse. Addictions often have you throw everything out the window if it's strong enough. The only thing that matters is that next hit, and no price is too high. Jordan is no different than the rest of us. We are all filled with good and bad.

At 44:40, that was probably the first time I've heard Tai sound so genuine when he answers a question. Rather than just going "Yeah, obviously, I'm Tai Lopez, I can make a business out of anything" he actually stops to think about it. And something about his tonality, and body language, and humbleness makes him seem so much more relatable in this interview.
