I missed you guys & thank you guys for making me feel so welcomed back 🥹🤍 Just a point for clarification in this video, I am very happy & content with my life & I am someone who lives and enjoys my life (hence why you haven’t seen me on socials as much this year, I’ve been living more than documenting 😅). The ‘crisis’ is more about future direction and uncertainty than discontentment with where I am - I hope that makes sense 🤍

This is so interesting to watch and think about. To get to a point in life where you have achieved your goals and now you’re thinking ‘okay so what now?’. I’ve been following you for about a year, or maybe a little bit more when you were still in London. It is so inspiring to see that you have achieved everything. It just proves that no matter where we come from in life, if we work hard we can build the life we want. I am 29 and I was lost for so long, even now it’s difficult to keep working towards the my goals because I feel like it’s been forever. But videos like this give me a sense of purpose and pushing me to keep going. Thank you Lamide for not giving up on filming. I remember you mentioned that YT isn’t that rewarding anymore, but I definitely prefer when you sit down and talk about these things rather than watch a 30 second clip on Tiktok. Merry Christmas to you too! ❤❤

Awww 🥹 I’m so glad & shout out to you for keeping pushing! And yeah I needed to build a better system with all of my platforms. It was getting too much trying to manage all of it at once with work and a new business, but I’ve taken the last few weeks to work on build new systems and implementing them so hopefully I can keep all of it going 🤞🏽🤍🤍

Its beautiful when you mention that you started your self development journey at 15! I think its amazing, how did you do that? At 15 I was just all about high school and knew nothing about life or what I even wanted. Watching you reminds me of a channel called Beatrice Oyoo, she shares her raw and realistic journey and its so inspiring.

ive been feeling the same way recently, and this video really put my thoughts into words. I think also when you are a child, everything seems more exciting than it really is, so when we grow up and become less emotional and "wiser", our goals kinda lose their shine and it takes time to come to terms with that

Crisis??! I would say reset or reconcile or quarter life review or something along those lines, BUT achieving everything and then deciding where to go from there is definitely not a crisis. Tsk tsk. Congratulations btw and wishing you more to come 🎉

Two things that can help one forge ahead when your cup is full: 1) Have a plan to fill other cups: a giving plan eg in Nigeria or even Britain where the cost of living crisis means children are start to develop bow legs in some places or depend on charities for school meals. If you can give in a way that enables you to see the impact you are making, it can really boost your well-being. True giving is really receiving: I now understand this completely. 2) Make time to meditate/introspect on what you have achieved and make plans to enjoy it without jeopardising your financial stability. Want to go on a solo trip to Tahiti? Do it. Gorilla trekking in Rwanda on your own: go! You are breathing, healthy and successful. If you were told you had just one year left to live, how would you spend it? I

Ooooh boy do I relate. You’ve articulated the challenge here so well: in your childhood, it’s ALL mapped out! And then suddenly in adulthood, it’s all up to you bruh 😅. Especially when you’re forging your own unique path away from historical convention. Either way, I look forward to your new chapter as I know you’ll crush it! Going through several significant changes (age or life situations) can have a significant impact on how we see ourselves and subsequently our professional/working identities. This can create unsettling feelings of uncertainty. It may be helpful seeing a qualified coach to get an alternative and objective perspective. Looking forward to seeing the digital planner!

A great video and also a insightful example of when our pre frontal cortex finishes developing at the age of 25, we become more perceptive and more reflective. Yes to more discipline and sifting out what and who we want to be 5 -10 years from now

Hey Lámidé, hope you are well. Ive been watching your videos for years. Every since that first studio apartment tour in canary wharf. Im 27 and work in consulting and I resonate with this video so much. Ive been having it more recently because theres so many options out there that the world and social media etc has opened up to me. Like you I did all the normal Stuff degreee in econ then big corporate firm and even being an investment property. Lately ive been coming to turns with (although Ive felt it for years) that I wouldnt work in corporate or consulting till I retire (68 are you mad) and every year im getting closer to financial independence (hope to buy another investment flat next year. I think someone aptly put it on the comments that life isnt a tick list. I also am ocd about having a list of things I wanna do, places I wanna visit etc. I think it is wise to live in the moment, and not see life as a tick list and that happiness is now and not in the future when say you buy X number of properties or have y net worth. There is nothing wrong with having goals, but look for happiness now and I think your goals will be achieved closer. But yes I agree the next year its probably hard to set goals. Do you move jobs, or countries like you did, do you want to be worth £1mill or £5mill. There is now no set path. I guess part of that happiness line is maybe coming to terms with there is no particular 10 year plan or you cant figure everything out now and thats okay, come to peace with that. Happy to chat about it more if you want :)

As an overachiever, you need to pace yourself otherwise you will be disappointed every time nothing works. I mean we all plan and God laughs ....it is awesome to set goals but you need to be realistic. Seek happiness first....seek for something that fulfills you not what the society requires of you....I'm almost 40 and I wouldn't want you to be stressed and depressed over small stuff. Life is short!

Some generals in history have also wept when there were (they felt), no more worthy challenges/places to conquer. Consolidate and slowly expand upon all of the successes to date, and as those portfolios grow, so will come the "new" challenges😉✊🏾😝❣

@@SA-cloud Everyone comes from a different background, and only they know what battles they have fought and which supposedly impossible hurdles they have crossed, to get where they are. I see no arrogance in someone openly sharing her experiences and life tips, along with actionable positive guidance.
