Woman from NY here! I’ve been watching since I was a kid. My grandpa, dad, and older brother loved this show, so naturally I did too, even though I didn’t understand the jokes back then lol. I appreciate this show so much more now. Thanks to Red Green, I learned early on that the two most useful tools a person can own are duck tape and WD40 👍

I like to think that the reason the "Adventures with Bill" Segment is filmed with an old black and white camera is that Bill accidentally destroyed all the better equipment.

I love the subtleties that Red gives out about middle age, the difference between the sexes, saving a buck, and depending on one's own self. Thanks Red for pulling for all of our subleties.

I cant help but wonder how many injuries were sustained in filming this show. Especially the Handyman Corner and Adventures with Bill segments.

That toast during the Handyman Corner reminds me of a time when I was a kid using the toaster oven. I toasted up a couple pieces of bread, which I had done many times before. But for whatever reason, I thought that they didn't look toasted enough. So I ran it again. And again. Because for some inexplicable reason, I just kept feeling unsatisfied. Until suddenly by about the fourth or fifth go at it, the toaster started smoking profusely, and I learned about overcooking things.

I love this show, it's like my life story on TV. Those were the good old days... At least those that I didn't go to the E.R.. No, really, and all my bones set just fine. I was actually a ranger for a while right after I got out of nuclear physics. Nuclear toasters would have been great but the product testing folks had some stupid hang up with the toast glowing. I thought it was a bonus but there's no accounting for taste or lack of it...

Haha, Red's "What!?" at 1:45 cracked me up for some reason. I like how he got less tolerant of Harold's interruptions as the season went on, but I can see how that's not really a thing you can keep going for too long in a long form show.

It's all algorithms. Basically: if you want a corner moved around there's a set move list. Lather, rinse, repeat. As for the fast solving, the channel "standupmaths" "recently" uploaded some videos of a competition.
