I've been to Muir Woods National Monument near San Fran a number of years ago, and it was breath taking. So cool and moist down in the valley, while up on the HW from San Fran it was hot and dry. Seeing those trees up close and personal it's hard to imagine them as young seedlings so many centuries ago! Awesome place.

Nicely filmed. Some areas in the Redwood forest can get up to 20 inches additional precipitation per year by means of captured fog dripping off the needles.

hello to all the wonderful and kind humans at Mirai Bonsai! Has Ryan done and Sequoia Bonsai? I have several seedlings entering their fourth year and I would love to see what you have done with any you may have in the garden.
