I understand that most anyone who’s going to be playing this will be right handed, but it seems a shot to the legacy of this guitar to take away the left handed orientation. As a lefty, it’s hard to see Gibson do absolutely nothing for LH players. Then they get a LH piece of history and completely reset it. Really disappointing.

Oh yea dude. You can't even get a lefty 50's standard in Tobacco Burst. There could be a whole video about lefty guitar injustice..Fender not offering lefty Mustangs (after a lefty made them popular again) Gretsch not offering Bigsbys on lefty models (why else would you want a Gretsch?) And all the Gibson custom 59s they do have the les Paul logo upside down (which is historically accurate I guess because they cheaped out back in the day but not cool)

This is cool story and hats off to Cesar & Co. for keeping it alive but I have to say the 2024 Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom Shop ‘59 Les Paul is a tremendous bang for the buck. It blows my mind you can get a build of this caliber for $1,100 (purchase price from the good folks at CME) with a hard shell case. Kudos to Gibson and Epiphone for their dedication to making quality instruments that the average working musician can afford. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

While a Gibson is more than a guitar, it's an American legend by this time, you don't have to own a Gibson to channel yourself, to pour your soul out through music. Buy a "cheapo" Epiphone Coronet or a Wlshire, or any other budget brand guitar for that matter, and play the hell out of it. I can't afford buying a Gibson either, but I feel this connection with the rest of the jamming world every time I play my guitars
