@GTH8991 they've played many many sold out headlining tours. just because you don;t know any music outside of what the radio tells you to listen to doesn't mean a band thats not as high charting is "unknown" they still take tours as a supporting group just to have the experience of playing those shows. that's called not having a huge ego, something the music industry needs more of.

@bbqthis Making a comparison with an average person does really do a great job of showing their overall success. I also never suggested that I was more successful then they are in the first place so that is a stupid point to make. And yes "The Resolution" was their highes charting song, but it didn't even crack the top 100 so like I said, outside of an indie audience, Jack's Mannequin is relatively unknown.

@TellTaleLie because, outside of a indie audience, most people have never heard of them. and when i said "he" i meant, jack's mannequin, not something corporate, im sorry for the misunderstanding but jack's mannequin, outside of dark blue and the mixed tape, songs are unknown to most of the public. I also dont see touring as an opening act to new found glory as hitting it big so i guess well have to agree to disagree

ahm ... what difference does his name make, or the reason or something to the final result. He obviously is on the top of his abilities in this song (top of his vocal range), which (of course) he can and should improve. This is a good song and it could be so much better. The lyrics are great, there is just something missing. And well the piano fits, simple but it works. So y the hell jumping around like a maniac in the concert, y even jumping on it for gods sake, its pop musik, just doesn't fit.

the music is alright. just saw them live, but the singer/piano guy is rediculous, repeates 3 chords on the piano and acts like mr beethoven himself, is an average singer, with an average voice (I do not say that it has no potential though). He just seems so amateur sometimes. Only the relatively new songs for the unoriginal music style (the fray, coldplay and whatnot) they imitated covers it to a certain extend! In the original (not accoustic) version of this song that works very well though...

@TellTaleLie hello? what are you five? and one, something corporate and jack's mannequin are two different band with McMahon as the singer, and with no songs on the charts, i dont really consider that making it big. jack's mannequin is one of my favorite bands and i always wished that their music would reach a wider audience

I must be one of the only people who doesn't want him to return to the SoCo sound lol. SoCo was amazing but I love the way his music is now...he's a lot older and has been through hell so of course it's going to sound different. Personally, I think Andrew just gets better and better...

@GTH8991 FYI, The Resolution has been their highest charting single so far. Jack's Mannequin AND Something Corporate have played sold out shows across the globe. And I'm willing to bet they have had A LOT more success than you.

Jack's Mannequin is so much more than some of the poppy shit music that is coming out of modern music. Not saying it's all bad, but Jack's brings something unique, beautiful and deep to the table. Something many bands fail at.
