All I Hope is that Marit Lage don't receive the Eldrazi or Bolas retcon and end defeated by Power of love and friendship. She deserves better. Well, love and friendship took care of Ulamog and Kozilek, I see no reason why it wouldn't work on Marit Lage. Ravnica even has leylines just like Zendikar, and a being deeply connected to the plane in Niv Mizzet. It would not shock me if 10 Guildmasters+Niv channeling mana into Jaya let her re-enact her banishing spell. Similar to how Nissa's channeling let Chandra (Jaya's pupil!) burn away the Titans.

This series is actually quite interesting in how it diverges from the lore, and it's nice seeing a story being told that isn't dependant on a set and the cards within, since that often leads to inconsistencies and weird pacing. I first subscribed for your witty product analysis but I must say I think those lore videos are even better. Please keep ‘em coming prof!

The editing/transitions between the comic art frames is great! As someone who got into magic somewhat recently through the tcg formats, I'm interested in the lore now!

I'll always have a soft spot for Ravnica, the original block is where I first fell in love with Magic, and the whole War of the Spark block is when I got back into the game after a lengthy absence. I especially love these videos, as I'm always interested in the little story snippets we get from the cards and the flavor text, but I don't exactly have the time to go delving into all of the details. Big ups, Professor!

The plot about characters who have made the history of magic is really interesting and the professor really good at telling it

Great video! Lage was always mysterious to me when I first heard of Dark Depths so I’m glad we’re getting more lore.

Your voice is so cozy. I listen to your videos while i work and get dirty looks if i start laughing maniacally out of nowhere.

I'm a new magic player, and I have to say that your videos I think are some of the best in the community. Good quality, creativity and a unique humor. They have helped me understand many things about this new world that I am entering. I just have to thank you.
