Love This! I was 28 when I read this. Lived with my parents, lost without any direction. No money. No nothing. Two years later. I bought land in Montana. Received 3 degrees from a JC in agriculture. Started a wine label in Sonoma County,CA. Became the largest land holder in family by the time I was 35. Long Story, Short. I am exactly where I want to be, doing exactly what I want to be doing in my life, that is true wealth to me!

When I was 48, I had saved $13,000. By the time I was 60, I was able to buy my first apartment building with $45000 downpayment from savings. Six months later, I bought a small apartment complex of 12 more apartments. Less than five more years, I was able to sell the complex for 1.5 million dollars. When all was settled, I was now financially secure. 18 years had passed. This works if you don’t give up.

Practical. I Just finished reading “Rich Dad Poor Dad”. The last 2-3 years I’ve been researching what financial freedom is defined by, but also what it meant for me. I didn’t finish college in 2017 and started doing delivery. Opportunity came and late 2018 with my father in law telling me his job is hiring a cad drafter for $10/hr. I had some skill, but learned fast, til today. I was 24 taking that job. I stopped renting and owning a new home became opportunistic at the age of 26. This month I just turned 28 and have my first job paying me six figures. I will be quitting my job in 24 months, and hope to reach MY Financial Freedom, Or “Independence” by 33. Practical Consistency.

I am 41 years old, and I really wish I had read this book as a kid. I think if this book was required reading in schools, the average wealth of this country would increase noticeably within just a generation or two. As it is, I read this book for the first time almost a year ago, and I have been practicing its lessons, and in one year I have eliminated 1/3 of my debt and now have an investing account with over $12k. I am well on my way to retiring by 50, and I don’t think that would be the case without the knowledge that I gained from reading this book.

My loan is 100k for the land the rest is using my cash that I have accumulated since I was 17 when I built my first house , this will be my 4th house all which I have made fantastic profits from. Whilst listening to this it made me phone my realestate agent and buy a block of 3 units in my local town. I had being pondering on it for a few weeks and this made me pull the trigger. Now hopefully in 5-10years I'll own outright a 500k block of units returning $840 a week. People say I just get lucky but I don't I've made mistakes and learnt from them and I work harder then everyone my age I know. Its possible for anyone

The single part that hits me every time I hear it, that has now really impacted me is this; "What have you to show for your earnings of the past year? Fool! You pay everyone but yourself!" It really dawned on me when, after reading that (for the third time), I counted every salary payment I received over the past year and realised my paymemt account was next to empty and my savings account containing a measly 300$. It's about time I am finally going to take this seriously and put this book yo use...

@@LatinRoses Hey man so I’ve been doing some research and land investment is a pretty good one for guys starting out like us. Might buy some land and raise some livestock (goats, ducks), cuz land is cheap here in PA and there’s a need for local sourcing, especially for meats that’s are more desirable to foreigners like Goat meat (Africans, Arabs), and Duck (Asians).

@theizzoshow5180

@@LatinRoses Yes. Another real estate strategy I have in the plans is this: 1. Finance house with multiple rooms 2. After a year or 2 (need to own the house for a bit before you can rent out), rent out house. The rent money will pay off the house over time, and eventually you will profit. 3. Take equity out on that house, and use it to buy/finance the next available house on the block 4. Rinse and repeat. Before we know it, we’ll own whole neighborhoods if all goes well. Also, rent out on the higher end. If you do, and actually get tenants, everyone else will see that you’ve done it, and so will they. Boom, just like that, you’ve boosted the market value of all the real estate near by, because now everyone is charging more. It won’t happen right away though, which is good because it gives time for us to buy the houses as our value is increasing. This method, takes a bit more time and resources, starting with good credit. Buy and finance houses on the outskirts of the major cities. This is not professional advice btw. This is just ideas and information I’ve gathered this past year on my journey to understand and begin investing.

This is definately a great book to set the foundations and plant the seed to root the tree of wealth, I listen to it at least 4 times a year. I share it with anyone that is having financial trouble as its lesson are crutial to begin in the path of building wealth. May 2022 bring wealth to each and everyone, abd break the chain and build wealth to last a millenia. Cheers Camaradas

Whoever put magic in this book, thank you. Because how come I listen to one chapter and the next morning I'm working out, sealing deals with customers, booking meetings and making multiple sales like I haven't been doing in 8 months???? The only thing I've done different in my routine is listening to this book. I'm shook.

I am 36 now. I found this book at the age of 27 but I didn't give importance. Now I realize how much I did lose. Anyway, henceforth, this is going to be a booster.

Now I am 29 years old listening to this book. I am an english teacher making around 30-40k a year in one of the central asian countries. Married at 25, now a happy father of two little boys. I have been working for 5 years. I myself bought a $ 15.000 -car, I am building a house, already spent +30K on it, and not finished yet, whilst I am still living in my parents house with my family. I am trying to build a great future for my children and myself. Hope I will learn something valuable from this book.

24 going on 25. Each paragraph resonated with me to a degree I had to stop listening and stop what I was doing so I could take notes. I will be recommending this book to my family.
