I'm with Karl on this. In the summer I love peacefully sitting down and watching butterflies and all sorts of fancy things doing their business. It's one of life's purest pleasures, which resets stress and makes you appreciate your surroundings.

I’ve also done the ‘saving insects’ thing. I feel bad when I watch something drown, if I can just lift my finger, save an ant floating on the pool surface, etc, it’s nothing much but I have done it

Yes, I really enjoy sitting in the yard, having a few cold beers while watching birds, rabbits, squirrels and various insects. Sometimes a beetle lands on my knee or something, and I do enjoy watching it closely. Last summer I even got a bit of a surprise while watching these little birds next to me, and suddenly a hawk dove out of nowhere and grabbed one of them.

They're called eusocial animals. That means they're completely coordinated as a collective. Thing is they're driven completely by chemical signals like little robots. So I don't think humans could live like that. The naked mole rat is an eusocial mammal and they're probably conscious though. So there's that.

If you’re around the water enough you end up seeing quite a lot more washed up/dead fish than you would imagine otherwise. I fish quite regularly and it’s really not uncommon seeing a dead fish and/or other sea/aquatic life from time to time. That being said, I fucking love this show and this channel for that matter. Very happy for these guys, they bring me a lot of amusement and I’m happy for the success they’ve gained/earned and that Bert came across them and has given them the chance to be seen on other outlets such as “Open Tabs”. Please keep doing what you’re doing, both your choices of what to react to and your reactions just crack me up and I need that shit in my life. Especially right now/recently - thank you.
