Western shows were my favorite TV on Saturday’s. My dad and I would watch every Episode. My dad loved Rifleman so much , I had to get him another Beer during the commercials. Growing up in the late 60’s and 70’s , Westerns was a young boy’s favorite show . This one was and always will be my favorite. R.I.P. to all of the cast members 🙏🏻

Actually, Associated Press style is to use the complete name in the first reference, then the surname on second and succeeding references in wire service releases for use in a newspaper or magazine article and in radio and television reportage. The New York Times style is a bit more formal, adding a "Miss," "Mrs.," "Mr." courtesy title to the surname on second and succeeding references. This may sometimes have amusing consequences, as when writing a story about someone such as a rock & roll performer with a more eccentric surname, such as referring to Sid Vicious (birth name Simon Ritchie) of the British punk rock group The Sex Pistols as "Mr. Vicious" or American rock & roll singer Iggy Pop (birth name James Osterberg) as "Mr. Pop," which almost sounds like the name of a commercial product, such as a soft drink.
