I grew up in a baptist family and was working in a hospital when suddenly a man approached me and began speaking about being baptized in Jesus name he told me about father son and Holy Spirit baptism and pointed out the word NAME and said look closer it’s not plural and it took me down a different path that I haven’t been able to part from. I still continue going to a church which is great with my kids and they love it but they have the trinity view point. I constantly share this information around to my trinity members and I feel like they see me as an alien now and it’s kind of awkward in a way because while I follow the scriptures because often times they still preach the word but when persons is mentioned I just kind of bypass this idea because I find it hard to see it. I’ve even shared passages to my pastor such as isiah 9:6 where it says every lasting father, mighty god. Because at one point I thought well maybe Jesus when he said to Abraham before Abraham was I am maybe he meant he was appointed father and trinity was real but when you see ever lasting father mighty god it kind of shuts down this idea so it’s like oneness is the only way it could be in my mind

Here are a few names for you to investigate. Especially Conybeare. He wrote strongly against Matt. 28:19 and the later interpolation. Eusebius and Jerome seem to be critics of Matt 28:19 Eusebius In his Church History or Ecclesiastical History, Eusebius wrote the first surviving history of the Christian Church as a chronologically ordered account, based on earlier sources, complete from the period of the Apostles to his own epoch.[44] The time scheme correlated the history with the reigns of the Roman Emperors, and the scope was broad. Included were the bishops and other teachers of the Church, Christian relations with the Jews and those deemed heretical, and the Christian martyrs through 324.[45] Although its accuracy and biases have been questioned,[46] it remains an important source on the early church due to Eusebius's access to materials now lost.[47] “F. C. Conybeare, in an oft cited article, examined the citations of the text in Eusebius and concluded that Eusebius did not know the longer form of the text until the Council of Nicea, when the Trinitarian doctrine became established. …The real difficulty [with his view] is to determine whether we have any right to speak of a ‘Eusebian reading.

Ok I have a question from a previous video but I wasn't sure if it would get answered as the last comment was 8 months old but concerning the 144,000 video... Question on the rule of 12 I understand the 12 tribes and apostles but who do we count as the 12th apostle? Judas is counterfeit but in Acts 1 they drew lots to replace him with Matthias. But then Paul says he was chosen to be an apostle by Jesus himself in 1 Corinthians 15:8. So is it Matthias or Paul.. and if it's Matthias, what do we consider Paul? The 13th? This may be answered later on in the video and I just haven't got to it or missed it as I was looking up scriptures.

That's a great question. Some say Matthias some say Paul (one born out of due season). Not completely sure. I'd love to hear the thoughts of the Biblos community about who the identity actually is.

This question is like if Moses and Elijah represent the law and prophets and will be the two witnesses at the wailing wall then what about Enoch. He was translated and did not die; seems he may be a witness also. Since there was no law, on the other side of the flood, there was no knowledge of sin right; however, maybe Enoch is the nature witness. Nature teaches us there is a God and the Bible says nature teaches us some things like a man's head should not be covered. Man after the fall had the knowledge of good and evil: right and wrong. Perhaps Enoch's life will be a witness against man before the flood. I've asked the same question to myself about the 12th name on the foundations of the new Jerusalem. It seems to be Matthias because the man had to be with Jesus from the beginning as the others. Paul was not, being born out of due season. Also, while we all sin, Paul persecuted the church. Maybe Paul will be at the entry to the outer court - the court for the gentiles. Anyways, looking forward to the thoughts of others on either two subjects.

Trinitarians believe in ONE GOD THREE PERSONS OR TRINITY OF PERSONS Oneness believe in ONE GOD THREE modes/manifestations or TRINITY of modes. How can you discard the trinitarian point of view when onenesses are trinitarians? The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is completely biblical. The TRINITY is inevitable!

@Zachary Theriault 1) Zachary, I already explained to you that Jesus the BEGOTTEN SON, the WORD of God was WITH the FATHER before the world was, go back to my previous comments. Again: we have to understand and acknowledge that the Bible teaches that between the FATHER and the SON there is a relationship in which the SON gives honor and glory to the FATHER and the FATHER gives honor and glory to the Son. The SON calls the FATHER God and the FATHER calls the SON God. The Father loves the SON and the SON loves the FATHER etc etc. Zachary, In John 17:1-5 we have a statement from Jesus about His past relationship within the FATHER. 17 JESUS SPOKE THESE WORDS, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “FATHER, the hour has come. Glorify YOUR SON, that YOUR SON also may glorify YOU, 2 as You have given HIM AUTHORITY over all flesh, that HE should give eternal life to as many as YOU have given HIM. 3 And this is eternal life, that they may know YOU, THE ONLY TRUE GOD, and Jesus Christ whom YOU HAVE SENT. 4 I have glorified YOU on the earth. I have finished the work which YOU HAVE GIVEN ME TO DO. 5 And now, O FATHER, GLORIFY ME TOGETHER WITH YOURSELF, WITH THE GLORY WHICH I HAD WITH YOU BEFORE THE WORLD WAS. Oneness teach that Jesus only existed when HE came into the world but here Jesus clearly tells us that HE ALREADY EXISTED WITH THE FATHER BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD. In these verses Jesus is not saying nor is he implying that HE was a THOUGHT OR A FUTURISTIC THOUGHT OR A PLAN IN THE MIND OF GOD. Zachary, nor Jesus said that he was with the Father in his thoughts. Jesus the Son is claiming that HE already existed alongside or WITH THE FATHER BEFORE the foundation of the world. WITH THE FATHER: The Bible doesn't say that Jesus pre-existed His incarnation as the FATHER, but always that HE was WITH THE FATHER: "And now, O FATHER, glorify ME together WITH YOURSELF, WITH the glory which I had WITH YOU before the world was." (John 17:5) In John 1:1-3 it says: The Eternal Word 1 In the beginning was the WORD, and THE WORD WAS WITH GOD, and the WORD was God. 2 HE WAS IN THE BEGINNING WITH GOD . 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In John 1:1-3 tells us that the: “WORD, WAS IN THE BEGINNING” and “THE WORD WAS WITH GOD" and THE WORD WAS GOD, and THE WORD WAS THE CREATOR.” In John 8:38 it says: "I speak what I have seen WITH MY FATHER, and you do what you have seen with your father." 1 John 1:1-3. Eternal Life 1 THAT WHICH WAS FROM THE BEGINNING, which we have HEARD, which we have SEEN WITH OUR EYES , which we have LOOKED UPON, and OUR HANDS have handled, concerning the Word of life 2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life WHICH WAS WITH THE FATHER AND WAS MANIFESTED TO US 3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is WITH THE FATHER AND WITH HIS SON Jesus Christ." Again: Jesus is not the FATHER in the flesh nor the Son pre-existed as the FATHER. Jesus the BEGOTTEN SON or the WORD of God, WAS WITH THE FATHER and became flesh! Zachary, if you don't know who is this WORD that was in the BEGINNING WITH GOD, just read John 1 Verses 14-18 where it's reveal to us that the WORD was “THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF THE FATHER.” The Word Becomes Flesh 14 And the WORD BECAME FLESH and dwelt among us, AND WE beheld His GLORY, the GLORY as of THE ONLY BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER, full of grace and truth. 15 John bore witness of HIM and cried out, saying, “This was HE OF whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for HE WAS BEFORE me.’ ” 16 And of HIS FULLNESS we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, BUT GRACE and TRUTH CAME THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. 18 No one has seen GOD at any time. THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, who is in the BOSOM of the FATHER, He has DECLARED HIM. In 2 John 3 it says: 3 Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you FROM GOD THE FATHER AND FROM the Lord Jesus Christ, THE SON OF THE FATHER, IN TRUTH AND LOVE.

@Zachary Theriault 2) Zachary, I respectfully disagree with you. Who is the BEGOTTEN SON, who is the WORD OF GOD, who is the SON of Man, who is the Lamb of God? The answer is Jesus. Jesus the Word of God and the SON was always WITH GOD. The SON is eternal. In Colossians 1:16-17 we find Paul writing, "For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, wether thrones or power or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together." Some oneness exgetes take these verses to refer to Christ's pre-existence as Father. This is not true, for the simple reason that the verse immediately preceding this one speaks of Christ as "the image of the invisible God, the first born over the creation" (v15), and the verses before that speak of Christ as the Father's "beloved Son" (VV. 12-14). When Paul continues in verse 16 to say that is "by him" that "all things were created," he is explicitly referring to this person, who is certainly not God the Father. He is " the beloved Son" and "the image" of the Father. What is more, what meaning would there be in saying that the Father created all things "in," "thought, " and" "for" himself? The prepositions presuppose some distinction between the Father who creates and the Son-lmage through whom and for whom he creates. The fact that Paul, following his typical style, has already twice explicitly distinguished between God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ in this chapter (1:3, 3 We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, Colossians 1:12-13 only strengthen this point. 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the SON of His love, Hence, while Paul does understand the entire creation to exist for Jesus Christ the Son, he also understand the entire creation to have come about by means of Jesus Christ the SON. And this, if course, means that the inspired apostle believed that the SON of God really preexist before creation. This is why immediately goes on to state, without qualification, that " HE IS BEFORE ALL THINGS" (v.17). If this statement is not affirming that the SON of God really existed "before all things" what would a statement that did say this look like? Philippians 2:5-10. 5 Let this mind be in you which was also in CHRIST JESUS, 6 WHO, BEING IN THE FORM OF GOD did not consider it robbery to be EQUAL WITH GOD, 7 but MADE HIMSELF of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, HE HUMBLED HIMSELF and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 THEREFORE GOD also has highly exalted HIM and given HIM the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE SHOULD BOW, of those in HEAVEN, and of those on EARTH, and of those UNDER THE EARTH, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER. Paul says "He was in the form of God" employing a turn of speech which throws emphasis upon our Lord's possession of the specific quality of God. "Form" is a term wich expresses the sum of those characterizing qualities which make a thing the precisely thing that it is. When Our Lord is said to be in "the form of God," therefore, HE is declared to be all that God IS, to possess the whole fullness of attributes which make God, God. As almost every scholar in church history has seen it, this passages teaches exactly the same thing as John 1:1-14. Jesus was equal with God the Father (see v 9-11), he was with the Father, and he was himself " by nature God". But he did not cling to this divine status but rather" emptied himself" to take on "the very nature of a slave".

@Zachary Theriault 3) Zachary, Hebrews 1:2 teaches that the Son of God was instrumentally involved in the work of creation. In Hebrews 1:1-2 it says: God’s Supreme Revelation 1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by HIS SON, whom He has appointed HEIR OF ALL THINGS, THROUGH WHOM ALSO HE MADE THE WORLDS; Zachary, through whom God made the worlds? Through his SON. Colossians 1:13-17 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom OF THE SON OF HIS LOVE, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. 15 HE IS the image of the INVISIBLE GOD, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For BY HIM all things WERE CREATED that are in HEAVEN and that are on EARTH, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. ALL THINGS WERE CREATED THROUGH HIM and for Him. 17 And HE is BEFORE ALL THINGS, and in Him all things consist. Zachary again who is this, the bible mention, that through him and for him all things were created? The answer is: The SON. Ephesians 3:9 9 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who CREATED all things THROUGH JESUS CHRIST; Jesus is the Son and it is our creator. ALL THINGS WERE CREATED THROUGH THE SON. This imply that the SON WAS THERE at the time. This interpretation is further substantiated by the fact that the author has just previously said that the SON had be appointed "HEIR OF ALL THINGS". The Son was actually involved in creation when he attributes to the SON AS GOD (Hebrews 1:8). In Psalm 102:25-27 reads: 25 Of old You laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands. 26 They will perish, but You will endure; Yes, they will all grow old like a garment; Like a cloak You will change them, And they will be changed. 27 But You are the same, And Your years will have no end. Hebrews 1:10-12 reads: 10 And: “YOU, LORD, in the BEGINNING laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands. 11 They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment; 12 Like a cloak You will fold them up, And they will be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will not fail.” Zachary, in Hebrews 1:8 The FATHER called the Son, God Look back to verse 8, "To the Son he says "God is talking to his Son". Next (still verse 8) there is a quotation that begins, "Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever." God (the FATHER) is calling his Son "O God". This is followed by a second quotation in verse 10, "You LORD in the beginning "God is calling his Son "LORD". I conclude therefore that since GOD is addressing HIS SON AS "GOD" we must consider HIS SON TO BE “GOD”, just as GOD THE FATHER considers himself to be GOD. Zachary, oneness believe that Jesus is just a mere man, not divine but, Jesus the SON is divine. Jesus is NOT the Father in flesh.

@Zachary Theriault Zachary, are you denying that the Bible says that God created all things through Jesus? Are you saying that JESUS (THE SON) DIDN'T existed before the foundation of the world WITH THE FATHER? Zachary in Micah Chapter 5:1-4 it says: A Promised Ruler From Bethlehem 1Marshal your troops now, city of troops, for a siege is laid against us. They will strike Israel’s ruler on the cheek with a rod. 2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me ONE who will be ruler over Israel, WHOSE ORIGINS ARE FROM OF OLD, FROM ANCIENT TIMES.” 3 Therefore Israel will be abandoned until the time when she who is in labor bears a son, and the rest of his brothers return to join the Israelites. 4 HE WILL STAND and shepherd his flock in the STRENGTH OF THE LORD, in the majesty of the name OF THE LORD HIS GOD. And they will live securely, FOR THEN HIS GREATNESS WILL REACH TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH. Zachary, who is this whose origins are FROM OF OLD, FROM ANCIENT TIMES.”? This is Jesus the Son who comes in the authority of God the FATHER. In Proverbs 30:4 it says: 4 WHO has gone up to heaven and come down? Whose hands have gathered up the wind? WHO has wrapped up the waters in a cloak? WHO has established all the ends of the earth? What is his NAME, and what is the NAME OF HIS SON? Surely you know! Zachary, do you know the name of the Son of God? In Psalm 2 it says: 1 Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? 2 The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying, 3 “Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles.” 4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them. 5 He rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying, 6 “I have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain.” 7 I will proclaim the Lord’s decree: He said to me, “You are my son; today I have become your father. 8 Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. 9 You will break them with a rod of iron; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.” 10 Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. 11 Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling. 12 KISS HIS SON, or he will be angry and your way will lead to your destruction, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge IN HIM In Isaiah 48:16 it says: 16 Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret FROM THE BEGINNING; from the time that it was, there am I: and now THE LORD GOD, and HIS SPIRIT, HATH SENT ME. In Proverbs 8:22-31 it says: 22 “The Lord possessed me at the beginning of His way, Before His works of old. 23 I have been established from everlasting, From the beginning, before there was ever an earth. 24 When there were no depths I was brought forth, When there were no fountains abounding with water. 25 Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills, I was brought forth; 26 While as yet He had not made the earth or the fields, Or the primal dust of the world. 27 When He prepared the heavens, I was there, When He drew a circle on the face of the deep, 28 When He established the clouds above, When He strengthened the fountains of the deep, 29 When He assigned to the sea its limit, So that the waters would not transgress His command, When He marked out the foundations of the earth, 30 Then I was beside Him AS A MASTER CRAFTSMAN; And I was daily His delight, Rejoicing always before Him, 31 Rejoicing in His inhabited world, And my delight was with the sons of men. Zachary, who is the speaker HERE? A poetic fiction? A very powerful poetic fiction, to be God's master craftsman! Paul proclaimed Jesus Christ as the "WISDOM " OF GOD: "For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God AND THE WISDOM OF GOD ." (1 Corinthians 1:22-24). Zachary, did Jesus exist before the foundation of the world WITH THE FATHER? The answer is Yes, of course. WITH THE FATHER: The Bible doesn't say that Jesus pre-existed His incarnation as the FATHER, but always that He was WITH THE FATHER: "And now, O Father, glorify Me together WITH Yourself, WITH the glory which I had WITH You before the world was." (John 17:5) John1:1-3 The Eternal Word 1 In the beginning was the Word, and THE WORD WAS WITH GOD, and the Word was God. 2 HE WAS IN THE BEGINNING WITH GOD . 3 ALL THINGS WERE MADE through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. John 8:38 "I speak what I have seen WITH MY FATHER, and you do what you have seen with your father." 1 John 1:1-3. Eternal Life 1 THAT WHICH WAS FROM THE BEGINNING, which we have HEARD, which we have SEEN WITH OUR EYES , which we have LOOKED UPON, and OUR HANDS have handled, concerning the Word of life 2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life WHICH WAS WITH THE FATHER AND WAS MANIFESTED TO US 3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is WITH THE FATHER AND WITH HIS Son Jesus Christ." Colossians 1:12-19 12 Giving thanks unto the FATHER, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear SON: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 FOR BY HIM WERE ALL THINGS CREATED, THAT ARE IN HEAVEN, AND THAT ARE IN EARTH, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 AND HE IS BEFORE ALL THINGS, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 FOR IT PLEASED THE FATHER THAT in him should all fulness dwell; Zachary, as I stated before: Jesus is the Son of God and he is not the FATHER. We cannot make a doctrine from an isolated verse. Also, I repeat that we have to be careful when we consider an Old Testament verse to verify a doctrine that is explicitly given or revealed in the New Testament as is Jesus the Son of God, or the deity of Christ. In light of the progress of revelation we must allow the New Testament to interpret the Old Testament and not the other way around. Jesus came to fulfill and clarify the Old Testament. It was Jesus himself who brought the teaching of the FATHER and the Son. It was Jesus who spoke saying that his FATHER sent him and that the FATHER was greater than him and that he existed alongside the FATHER before the foundation of the world. Jesus is not the FATHER in the flesh, nor the Son pre existed as the FATHER.
