Hey man. Aren’t the sharp pointed prongs hurting him when he wears that collar and gets tugged?

Do you only use the prong collar during walks or when it’s needed for correction?

@TheWordSaysWhat it depends on the behaviours you may need to correct outside of walking. Such as excessive jumping or launging at other pets you may have, etc... Basically, it is an accessory to the mechanism of correction through the application of leash pressure. Its use may vary

@@dogtrainergh Thank you, I have a 5 month old pit puppy, who started teething a month ago and have picked up biting everything included us. I have been using the prong collar for walking because he was pulling. He has improved tremendously with both biting and pulling. We are going to put him in obedience class just to cover what we have missed or doing wrong.

@@TheWordSaysWhat I am glad you are seeing improvement. Yes, putting him in obedience class is a great idea. I recommend you actively participate in the class yourself so that your handling skills get even better. So far it sounds like you are doing really well. Kudos 👍🏿
