Two of the Greatest singers and nicest guys ever! There voices blended so beautiful together, makes you feel it in your soul, and Bobby had such a unreal vocal range and very good looking to go with it. Just awesome.

👏👏 thank’s a lot to publish this video ! It’s so rare to find interviews of those two amazing singers. The best and most talented and awarded soul and R&B singers and performers of the 60’s and for me Bobby’s remained the best male vocalist with the widest range of vocal talent from soprano to countertenor able to carry us through emotional feelings ❤

I agree! But I don't think they were recognized enough! And to be only the 16th (should have been number 1 ) vocal Duo of all time! Someone on that selection panel must of had something against them! Between their vocal range, voices and the magical blending of those two monster singers ... I just shake my head at their placing!!!

Agreed. Bill was the greatest baritone and Bobby was off the charts vocally. Probably the greatest non- operatic vocalist of all time in the singing genre. Sinatra+ Elvis couldn't hold a candle to him, moreless carry his jockstrap. There were never any finer than Bobby's vocal instrument. He had a Stradivarius tonal quality. ✅

Oh Wow! 😲 Another posting of my very favorite group. Thank you for the information including the date, some good summary information, and some good interpretation. To balance the interpretation which goes more into Bill Medley, when Bobby Hatfield "leans into a lyric, goin' way, way" high up blue with his highest counter tenor voice many of us soar with him. 💫 Thank you for the great photo also.

There's a site called 'Reelin' in the Years' that has an interview and a couple of songs from 1991. It's from the Brad Garrett show, 'Into the Night'

Thank you for this. Please add as much as possible. I enjoy hearing them both talk. Do you know if there is a video of Bobby singing Ebb Tide?
If you look up their live concert at the Roxy from 1983 ...I think it's'Legends in Concert' he sings it live. Not his best, but they'd just got back together...

Loved hearing this! They were two classy guys with an incredible talent as a duo and their solo numbers.❤
Bobby just did not take care of himself. He had a doctor's appointment scheduled for after the tour they were on. He was on heart medication.

Wow, another one who's never heard of genetics in regards to voice and to aging. And, then, there's the effects on a fair-skinned person living a large part of life outdoors before sunscreens existed. He obviously had a doctor since his prescribed medications were found in the autopsy. His wife was ill with Lupus, but dramatic 🤔
