@@senecathefuka441 This is incorrect. The actual quote is "Die Lage ist ernst, aber nicht hoffnungslos." Quite the balanced thought. I couldn't agree more. However, the numerous graves of my ancestors give another grim look to the empire. The Serbs and The English were 6 million in total in 1900eds, nowadays the English 60 million, the Serbs 6 million, roughly. Austria had, generally, positive role in the Balkans, as a beacon of civilized Christian society. And in my mind it was a savior for the Slavic Christian population against the menace from the Asia Minor. The refugee camps along its borders, called Krajina, allowed the Austrian empire some peace for the certain duration of time. However, as always the global politics had rolled the dice and once the protector of the Serbs it becomes the arch enemy. Who is to blame?
@mariag1746
5 жыл бұрын
@@slobodanjovanovic7493 - I beg to differ. In 1900 population of London only was 6.7 million. In 1914 Serbia had a population of 4.5 million. The territory of what is now the Republic of Serbia was part of the Ottoman Empire throughout the Early Modern period, especially Central Serbia, unlike Vojvodina which was under Habsburg rule starting from the end of the 17th century. Austria-Hungary hated Serbia. 1876 Serbia & Montenegro declared war on Turkey, went to war against them in order to conquer Bosnia, and were badly defeated. Serbia was anexed under Ottoman rule almost constantly from 1459 - 1817 - gained it's independence in 1867 and recoginition by the 'Great Powers' at the Berlin Congress of 1878. You talk of Krajina - which is in Croatia and a long long way from Serbia. Serbia was a vasal state of the Ottomans & as such were the terrorising force on the turkish front lines. So much for the "beacon of civilized Christian society". Serbs showed their degree of civilization in the 1990's as well.

This is yet another proof and nice presentation, that whole Slovenia and whole Istria belonged most of the time to Habsburg Empire and later Austria. Then in 80's suddenly Croatia started to claim Istria as theirs. Istria should belong to today Slovenia, not Croatia. You can see on the map most of the time it was under H.Empire/Austria.

Orkar Isber LOl fucking moron Mongolian did into have a larger population nor a bugger empire. Mongolian had the largest empire interns of non-broken land mass. But the British ahd the largest and most powerful in the world. and it proved it self as well. Example how many cities did the Mongolians build?? Now ask yourself how many Cities did the English/British build around the world and nations??
@OrkarIsberEstar
9 жыл бұрын
finalfrontier001 get your facts straight. The mongolian empire encompassed a much larger portion of the worlds population than the british empire did - of course related to their respective times. And yes the english empire had a LITTLE BIT more area but spread all over the globe not as a single landmass. besides that the mongolian empire lasted longer than the british one did. To city building - its a bit unfair to compare an antique culture with a industrial one, dont you think? But the mongols did built quite some things and made it into legends of various cultures, which the british empire did not accomplish

Alright then. World War 2 ... Exactly. But you want another answer, you 12 year old crybaby, don't you? I can quite literally say anything, and you will respond with "Jews did it" I can say world hunger. And you will say "Jews are the problem" I can say Communism, and you will say " Lenin is a jew" I mean, how can someone as moronic as you live being so brainwashed into your own thoughts. Living with hate everyday. Against a group of people you've never met, or more specifically, never NOTICED to have met. Because guess what? Jews are in fact not the illuminati reptilians as you may think. And are instead just people living their own lives like you. You also made a HORRIBLE. And i have to say. HORRIBLE and WRONG statement about Jews destroying the European culture. You can call any leader in the world, a jew. And blame the reason on their religion/race. But saying that the european culture has changed, i have to ask. What the hell is the European culture? Do you mean the medieval version where justice was a fragile thing? Or today where everything is 100% better, if not more, thanks to healthcare, technology and improved crops. And last time i checked, the culture of the past is still around. The good parts at the least *Cough* Race hate *Cough* Witch hunting So get off your high horse, and get to your doctor to find a well made brain to put into that head of yours. BUT WATCH OUT. The doctor may be a jeeeewwww. Scaaaryyyyy

***** Also, i'd like to ask, seeing your repeated mentions of Jews What exactly is a jew? Do you even know? Is it the race or the religion. Because i can prove you wrong i both. Religion: Newsflash kid. A lot of the billionaires today worked from the middle class to first. Only few like Trump inherited it. Lets say i became a billionaire, then i assume i'd become a jew by your own logic? Right? Quit stabbing at Communism if you hate jewish billionaires ya twatty. Its called Capitalism, and it fucks everyone over. Race: Obama. ... and like every other world leader/rich person I mean, you talked about your own jewish features, but that is a huge contradiction to your own arguments. I mean, if you can notice your own features, then everyone else should have noticed these features aswell, in other people? Hillary doesn't look jewish. Trump doesn't either. Neither is bill gates. Or pretty much any other billionaire. Hell, there are a larger groups of arab billionaire than the "100% jews" which you insist

Vienna was at one point in history literally a Czech city therefore "Meidlinger L" which is said to be of Czech origin is still present in some certain parts of that city. Bratislava is Slovak city only since 1920 or so, it had been mostly German/Jewish city before 1918

Ein paar Fragen: 1. Wie sind die Habsburger nach Österreich gekommen? 2.

The 1848 Hungarian ethnic nationalities law was Europe's first ever law to grant special status to ethnicities. The 1868 Ethnic Nationalities Laws broadened these privileges even further, but the die has already been cast when nationalities rose up against hungary on the side of the austrians in 1849 in hope of getting independence, which they didn't of course. From there on the nationalities weren't content with anything less then complete soveregnity.
