The Stones gave the sold out crowd a solid performance for 2 solid hours! ALSO - the Denny's afterwards was blasting Stones music and diners were dancing, the hotel was sold out and fans were raving about the concert...and stopping at Buc-ee's on the way back to Dallas and a good fifth of the shoppers were sporting their Stones shirts! Yet there's Mick, still srutting around the stage, still in step with the rhythm, has a fashion sense that says, "I'm not 80, but I'm not trying to look 22 either," and is out there with the other Stones putting on a two-hour show. @@Osnosis I did not know this. Mick did add some things to the song according to an interview Keith gave. I had a Keith Richards album and it was good but not quite as good as a Stones release to me. I don't think they get the credit they deserve for their writing and I'm wondering if the reason more artists don't cover their originals is that the Stones' version would be a hard act to follow. By the way, Blue And Lonesome is incredible if you haven't heard it yet. Thanks.

@@jamesmorelandoliver8897 There are several Stones tribute albums; I worked on one that was called Stone Country. Some of their best songs are "country" flavored, although usually with a satirical bent (e.g. Dead Flowers). I love the Stones, but am not into the nostalgia/living relics thing (like Dead & Co.). There are great live bands out there, some of which are "elderly", but still making what I'd call contemporary music (e.g. David Byrne). I'd pay big $ to see/hear the Stones perform without doing a single one of the 18 constants they've been doing since 1990.
