Recorded and broadcast April 9th, 1965 for Ready, Steady, Goes Live! and ARTV.
To this day I'm Alright is erroneously credited to the Jagger/Richards partnership, and was also once attributed to the collective Nanker/Phelge songwriting credit. In case you didn't know, I'm Alright was originally written by Sam Cooke and Little Anthony (Jerome Gourdine) and released as a single in July 1959. Bo Diddley released it on his live album Bo Diddley's Beach Party (as I’m All Right) with a different arrangement in January 1964, with the song being entirely credited to him.
For the Stones, it was a popular live song played mainly in 1964 and 1965, and last played in late 1966. At the 1964 NME Awards, Charlie Watts introduced it as a "Bo Diddley number" but despite this, it was credited to Nanker/Phelge on the US release of Out Of Our Heads as well as the UK Got Live If You Want it EP, while finally it was credited to Jagger/Richards for the US LP.
On the most recent ABKCO reissue of Got Live in 2021, it is still credited to Jagger/Richards despite this not being the case.
