Ronnie was one of the most beautiful women in the world. So natural with a gorgeous smile. The Ronettes were an amazing group. When I hear them singing I’m 14 again in the sixties. RIP Ronnie. 😔💜

Love the percussionist playing the mounted tambourine with the drumstick and the rattle. It produced a unique sound in this and a few other great songs from this era.

I’m so thankful and lucky to have the greatest grandpa in the entire world that introduced me into his era of music as a kid and still to this day as an Adult on his JukeBox. Rest In Everlasting Peace as I hope all your questions have now been answered 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Good Morning and Happy New Year. Estelle wasn't doing well phyiscally so she wasn't able to perform so Ronnie asked her long time background singer to fill in for her. Ronnie and Nedra did bring Estelle out at the end of the song to take their final bow. Estelle died a few months after they were inducted

Ronnie Spector passed away yesterday, wed. 12 Jan 2022, that leaves Nedra Talley Ross as the only remaining Ronette... (she has been married to Scott Ross since 1967...!). The Ronette's... such wonderful timeless music... may you rest in peace Estelle & Ronnie.

It was a shame that Estelle didn't have the health to be on stage but at least she got to be there. What a sad story is hers. She was such a beauty and elegant girl when they were young. Sad to watch our youths stars go out one by one as time takes them away. RIP Estelle and Ronnie. You gave us such memories. They gave us such JOY.

Ahh this performance properly put a smile on my face. Ronnie and Nedra giving it everything... Then they did the original moves... Wonderful moment that made me well up. Sad that Estelle was unable to perform at this point though. RIP Ronnie, you will never be forgotten :)

I'm pretty sure my jaw dropped as a kid when I saw them perform on American Bandstand. OMG, the bee-hive hairdos and lashes! And "Be My Baby" was, and still is, pretty much at the top of my list of favorite singles EVER. The arrangement and drumming is awesome. It's pure pop magic!

Its a recording production technique, its not something that happens in live performances. It was invented by Phil Spector and used on hundreds of records, hundreds of artists in the 60's and 70's. Ronnie from the Ronettes was married to Phil Spector. Phil just died a few days ago, in prison for murdering his girlfriend.
