Hey! I'm working on a video covering the new music compositions being uploaded to KZitem, would you mind answering a quick set of questions for the video? 1. What led you to wanting to make and post these compositions? 2. What is your background in music? ( do you play any instruments, do you produce other music and for how long?) 3. How much do you know about music theory? (did you take classes, did you watch KZitem videos?(okay if not (:)) 4. How much equipment do you have? (midi keyboard, other instruments, plugins, software, etc.) 5. How much enjoyment would you say you have felt from creating and posting these? 6. What do you prefer, Anime OP’s, Jazz, or Classical music?

hello!! thats so cool good luck :0 1. I looooove music and making music but until about half a year ago i hadn't really published any. it wasn't until i met a few people that really inspired me and showed me it was not only possible but feasible for me to create and publish music i was proud of (and for that i am eternally grateful to them) 2. I took piano lessons as a young child, but stopped after middle school. since then i've been almost completely self taught; i did play in my high school's jazz band for a year. for the past 3 years ive taken in extreme interest in music theory and have self studied that, but also sort of continued to teach myself piano (not very strictly because i am terrible at motivating myself). I also have a few other instruments but am not as good at any of them (guitar, bass, accordion, flute i made from a piece of bamboo) i am currently taking a gap year after having graduated from high school but i plan on trying to get into a music school for something like music technology or some sort of electronic music program. 3. i took two music theory classes in my school (one of which was AP music theory) but by that point i had already seen so many youtube videos on music theory from channels like Adam Neely and 8-Bit Music Theory that they really didnt teach me too much i didnt know :p i love music theory, i'm super interested in it, especially jazz harmony, and i'm always trying to learn new things and build my own framework of theory. there's a chord shape i like so much that i wrote a google doc about it (docs.google.com/document/u/1/d/1rHJ927aaXl-VGeSGkNa2FrmzUavFAI4Tptrc2GGmYyw/edit?usp=sharing) 4. other than the instruments previously mentioned i do have ableton live 11 but mostly use stock free plugins (vital, airwindows, melda audio) 5. a ton!! and i've only gotten started really. one thing thats been insanely enjoyable is watching my growth over time, and having somewhere to publish music to makes it easier for me to actually finish things and get them out instead of letting the project files collect dust. it's also been a huge opportunity to explore stuff i probably wouldn't have otherwise (more extensive sound design, making visuals in touchdesigner or blender, editing videos) and so as such it has been an absolute blast 6. this is actually the hardest question of the 6 you've asked... im tempted to say jazz but japanese music has had a frankly insane amount of influence on my style and tastes. also some of my favorite pieces of all time are classical; debussy is such an idol to me i think ill have to go with jazz though, it's just such an amazing musical location with so much nuance, and i love improvisation and soloing. thanks, and good luck with the video you're making! let me know when you're finished because this bubble of compositional work on youtube is actually a huge interest of mine too, and i'd love to see what kind of data you could get!!!

Kinda reminds me with some dark area/level where it is mostly lit by glowing mushrooms, vegetation and such. A slightly off yet calm feeling environment. The delay on the kick is really nice, really gives that wide sounding scape along with the reverb for the piano melody.
