A small correction: at the time of the conquest of the Russian principalities by Batu Khan, the Mongols were not Muslims, but pagans (Tengrians). Probably some of the conquered peoples in their army (in particular, the Volga Bulgars) could have been Muslims in the 13th century, but not the Mongols themselves. Even now they are Buddhists, but not Muslims. The western part of Genghis Khan's collapsed empire, the Golden Horde, converted to Islam only later, in the 14th century under Khan Uzbek, when the Mongolian elite had already begun to assimilated by the Turkic peoples.

Speaking of all the cults, it kinda reminds me of 1 man from Poland associated with THREE theories, who maybe can't be considered to be a cult leader, but his foundation held some characteristics of a cult, just some (so just assume it's a coincidence): Adolf Kudliński. 1) A founder of Slavic Returns foundation (repatriating Poles from Siberia, Kazakhstan and other places), who also promoted Slavianism. However he did some stuff, that is characteristic to cults like creating own community, complaining about the authorities, "coming back to the roots", etc.. I still remember how he announced a decree on video, that polygamy is not only allowed, but also encouraged. So, there are reasons to raise an eyebrow, but not enough to be sure. 2) Suspected to be the original "zbój świętokrzyski" (Holy Cross bandit), an position founded in the early 90s by a local federation of farmers, who wanted to fight for their prosperity (no pun intended) against the incoming foreign capital and abuse of local authorities. Adolf Kudliński was the leader of said movement, the staff of which after a failure of typical ways to get what they wanted tried to physically "convince" local authorities to agree to their demands. Apparently bandit's activity was limited to public flogging 3) This gentleman is also known as the 1st Polish prepper, with his home near the town of Bodzentyn (north-east of Kielce) and also a mindset of primitivism, where he REALLY didn't want to rely on a technology. And because of this activity (including again criticising the authorities, but also more serious gathering of illegal firearms and incitement of hate towards Romanian mushroom gatherers who allegedly robbed local gatherers of their mushrooms in Polish forests) many suspect (I admit I'm also inclined to this theory), that someone sent people to destroy him. Firstly he was gassed and due to the stress regarding this attack he died of a heart attack in October 2020 (so basically a peak of prepping channels activity). Then his house was potentially arsoned. However now his son seems to take the role of his father to continue his work, albeit with giving less reasons to goverment to take him around the courts for breaking the law.

48:40 it reminds me to a similar case in Mexico, also from the 90s, about a famous TV host murdered Paco Stanley, corrupted investigation and no one detained for the crime. But in this case the popular explanation is that he was assesinated for one drug cartel, he distributed cocaine among all the tv famous people

Wow: I haven't heard the term Doukhobors since I was a wee one growing up in Canada. Didn't know they were a group of people. Had no reference. Didn't know how to ask about it (I was under 3). Surreal! I didn't grow up in SK or BC so that may be why I never heard more about it later. This is the second thing I've learned as an adult is a real thing. Great video, too. Thank you.

Doukhobors are almost exactly like The Society of Friends or Quakers as they’re more known. They even have a similar story how Calvinists, Puritans, Quakers and Anabaptists left their country due to oppression. They came to the New World, settled into a quiet, humble rural life and left people alone. Except the Puritans they were twats but that’s a different story.

@@Setarko I hope they get enough views, alternatively you could compress the videos and leave out the parts about cult leaders and extrasense people which in my opinion are a little long winded and can be simply boiled down to schizophrenics/scammers.
