I thought the spiderman introduction made no sense whatsoever. Tony stark gets a kid into a battlefield? and for what? to scare cap? what was his goal and why did he go to spiderman specifically? the whole thing felt very forced, almost as if they just wanted to shove spiderman in the movie somehow. Spiderman added absolutely nothing to the actual plot, he just came for a fight then went away.

The loss of Chadwick will forever have an impact on the MCU. I feel like despite him only playing BP as a minor character in one movie, and having one full feature movie of his own, has made a larger impact on the MCU than any other actor present. I'm not a black person myself, but I can't even begin to imagine how emotionally liberating it must've been to finally have a superhero that you can relate to on screen. His loss will be something that's felt deeply in the MCU, and although he isn't present for the upcoming sequel, I can only imagine how proud he must be to have been the person to kickstart a movement in the world, wherein black people get to look up to a superhero who's black just like they are. Sure there were the old Blade movies with Snipe, but they just didn't have the same cultural impact as BP did.

*Professor Hulk says -> Take your hands off of me!* lol. _Why does his character development happen off screen?_ It doesn’t. It happens on screen. -> Banner has a personality disorder. -> A war between two super egos. -> It is a stalemate - hence his character does not develop. ->Hulk loses to Thanos, destroying one super ego. -> Hulk is effectively killed by Thanos: *Not literally* because you make the little boys cry, if you are too literal. Lol. But narratively that’s what happened. -> Banner then fails to stop Thanos, destroying the other super ego. -> Leaving Banner with only one path forward - the results of which we see 5 years later. -> The destruction of both ego’s ends the war between them. -> This is both *why* and *how* professor Hulk is born. That is character development and this was shown. [watch the DISNEY + episode of Legends] Sure the Hulk Smash fans don't like it. They like Eric Bana fighting CG French poodles. That bad taste speaks for itself. lol Hulk's legends episode *completely ignores* everything that you like. For good reason.

Was very disappointed in The Gray Man. The Russo's are very 50/50 in my opinion. These guys blew me away with Winter Soldier, it's one of my favourite movies of all time. Civil War did not hold up by comparison. Still one of the better MCU movies but it often didn't maintain that same weight and atmosphere that Winter Soldier provided perfectly (e.g. the airport fight which was more 'silly, easy-going fun romp' than 'a sense of spiralling tragedy' as one group of friends find themselves fugitives while the others are forced to try to bring them in to the authorities so that they aren't shot on sight'). Then Infinity War once again blew my mind as an absolute masterpiece, a cohesive story holding together some two dozen integral characters, only for Endgame to fail at that same effort in the final hurdle, proving a tonal mess worse than Civil War exhibited and being a ginormous let-down with the main arcs of several of the heroes of these 11 odd years (at the time) of movies. I still enjoyed Civil War and Endgame but, especially Endgame, nowhere close to how much I enjoyed Winter Soldier and Infinity War, which just felt heftier, more stakes, more atmosphere, better pay offs (despite being the precursor to those two sequels, which fell short on delivering the goods those movies set up). But The Gray Man was straight garbage. Too much money, too little creativity. A waste of Chris Evans, who put on a tremendously fun performance. Henry Jackman did not deliver for me, despite providing one of my favourite soundtracks in The Winter Soldier, and Ryan Gosling, who I often love, I found fell totally flat. The movie was sloppy and simply boring.
