I don't understand death. I never will. His music & his voice will live forever. I keep listening to this on repeat. RIP Dallas.

I had the extreme privilege of calling Dallas a friend. I met him in the 90s when he worked at Songbird on Queen. He was playing in one of my favourite bands back then The Satanatras. So good. This is heartbreaking truly. I’d not seen him in many years and always wanted to reach out to him. Too late now. Sorry Dallas. What a $&@&ing shame. He’s will go up for sure.

This is one of those songs that sounded instantly familiar the moment I heard it, and still utterly brand new. And now I keep catching snippets of it in other tunes: old songs, new songs, pop, country, rock, swing, jazz, doesn't matter, all over the place. Like it was there all along. Like the temporal order of influences clocked into reverse, or eddying, or swirling all around. A song of songs. Strangest damn thing. Unprecedented in my experience.

Brilliant song and fabulous video. Gorgeous. Always loved the 60's psychedelic/pop sound/groove in your music and adored your live shows over and over again through the years. A real loss. RIP Dallas and my deepest condolences (and also deep thanks for all the uncompromising great music) to friends, family and the fabulous band. Dallas you always looked and sounded like the epitome of cool, as did the whole band.

As a guitarist, I say "put more reverb on that reverb, and put some reverb on those vocals" - this is a great song. The most authentic retro sound I've ever heard. Like, written in a basement in Winnipeg during the winter in the late 60's authentic :D I think these guys are from Toronto, but I'm from MB and this is my reality ha ha
