What do the different colours that begin from var III mean? Also, the 11th variation is my favorite :)

Ah yes, good question! The colors are an experiment in highlighting different motifs or voices; here's an explanation for a most of them: - in Var. III the yellow highlights the 4 layered 3-note falls in the right hand. The first is D -> D♭ -> C, the second is F -> E -> D, the third is G -> F -> E, and the fourth is A -> G -> F. They overlap, so the highlight attempts to show them playing over each other. - at 2:35 the left hand yellow is a cycling of note, higher note, way lower note that is the basis for the same "cycling" in the next two variations (at 2:40, 3:02). You could even argue the cycling motif is inverted in Var. IX so that's also in yellow. This leads into in Handel's Var. I where in yellow this pseudo-inverted cycling motif is found again. - in Var. X, the yellow just highlights basic ascension/descension. - in Var. XI, the yellow is just to call attention to the different moods. - in Var. XII, the yellow highlights the "double" motif of two notes played in a row. This continues in Var. XIII, but the red represents a strange off-beat morphing of the yellow, forming it closer to the Theme, and returning to the red in Var. XIV - in Var. XV and XVI, it's just for aesthetics and voice highlighting. - in Var. XVII, the yellow highlights the melody found in the Alteration variations (starting 2:13)

En plus de variations sur le thème principal, on a l'impression d'entendre des variations sur des variations 😊

I like that one too! It almost has a bit of a heartbeat-sounding tension to it, but still finds a peaceful melody
