She was a terrific skater who had very little financial or emotional support. She fought the snobbery of women's figure skating and was penalized for it. Taking away her skating was an out-of-proportion penalty for her supposed knowledge of the plot to injure Nancy Kerrigan. In my book Harding was still the better skater and a survivor of terrible parental and spousal abuse.

She was absolutely horrid to all the other skaters at her local rink. TOTAL snob, really mean to the younger skaters, just a thoroughly unlikable young woman. I wasn't surprised when she got in trouble. Her mother was a HAG, though.

@@sarahmckenzie7989 I lived down the street in Stoneham from the Kerrigan’s back in the day. It’s no secret that Nancy was a spoiled princess with a supposed blue collar persona. Her remarks at Disney solidify that point. She was a graceful skater who couldn’t hold a candle to Tonya’s superior athleticism. Kerrigan won the vote of popular opinion. Tonya didn’t stand a chance and bad decisions nailed her sarcophagus shut.

Last week I presented a speech to my college class about Tonya Harding. This is such a good video, that really flows nicely. As a fellow person who has done a lot of research about this woman I love how you included things like how she was found on the side of the road with a baseball bat. A lot of people I talked to didn't know that about the story.

The 1992 and 1994 winter olympics were the first I remember watching as a child. And while Lillehammer were probably the best winter games ever, I mainly remember this Harding/Kerrigan scandal, that I did not really properly understand at that time. It was the biggest sideshow of the games. Even now, I can only guess to which degree she was or was not involved.

Then she was paid $2 million for ride a float with Micky Mouse and saild it was corny and griped. These videos are here.Tonya Harding was the better skater.

Wow, you have the perfect voice to create content 👍🏾 , and the way you tell a story draws people in and peaks their intrigue 🙌🏾 In less than twelve minutes you told a story that included her childhood, her introduction to ice skating ⛸️, her record breaking performances , and gave an insight into where is she now 👏🏾 I want to create content on KZitem and have that talent to keep it short but yet sweet 👌🏾 thanks for filling in the gaps for me , and continued success in all your endeavors 🙏🏾 !!!!!!

Believe it or not, you can have more than one victim. There's no winner in that arena. But click bait is cluck bait.

Um... Tonya is no victim today. She is famous, she gets paid to just appear in stuff, she is a host of several trutv shows. She had a bad childhood. All of us have. Doesn't give you the right to do what she did.

Tonya is a powerhouse on the ice. She could’ve easily beaten Nancy Kerrigan. Bad decisions and a horrible upbringing ruined her. I truly hope she’s found peace in her life.

@@juliasouza2534 I disagree. Tonya”s athleticism wiped the ice with Kerrigan”s pansy arsed ice queen routine. Inherent social bias in the sport has been acknowledged and spoken about in depth. She purposefully received lower scores even though her routines were more difficult.

@@MargaretLaFleur-j5j She agreed with the plan because she knew Nancy was better. I don't care that she had a hard life and a bad husband. Nancy was the victim and people in this comment section siding with Tonya are insane. Tonya's selfishness almost robbed Nancy of her dream. In the end, Nancy ended up in second place and Tonya in eighth place because Nancy was the better skater.
