Aussie here who watched Tszyu throughout his career and the weird thing is I always thought the people who he fought always looked bigger than him muscle and height wise. I also thought that his punches didn't look like they had much on them, but as we know he had a huge punch. Everything about him made him look like he'd be the under dog, especially against the black boxers who always looked much bigger and quicker than him, but he was an illusion because he was a monster. my favourite fight though was when he knocked out Zab Judah the disrespectful loud mouth

@@jayx2514 I guess you are seeing holes in Inoue's game that his opponents are not, and I don't agree that Tim is nothing like Kostya. I only started watching Kostya after he came to Australia, so I can't comment on his amateur career. As a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever seen amateur boxing outside the Olympic and Commonwealth Games, and I don't remember anyone I knew watching boxing that didn't involve superstars like him, Jeff Fenech, or Mike Tyson, or oddball cross-sport grudge matches like Jacko vs Mal Meninga. It probably would have been nice to see Lomachenko's amateur bouts but I don't think it would have been possible even if I had heard about him before he was a superstar professional. I suppose you don't see much to admire in his boxing either.

I seen him one at South Cronulla beach. It was close to the single craziest day of my life. Firstly I was with a mate of mine who died very young. I spotted him and told him and my misses he was there. The reply was yeah it looks like him hey. 2 minutes later a kid about 6 pushes my son who was 3-4 off the swing. Tszyu is watching. My son punches this bully straight between the eyes and he runs off crying to his mum. It was perfect timing. When we go to leave we go to get Aporto. The girl serving us collapsed at the counter. The other girl on did nothing whilst me and my friend rip into her to call an ambulance. She didn't. She's like go sit down. Then a few years later my friend dies in a car accident when he shouldn't have been driving but his boss made him work on his off day. The craziest shit about it was for a long time when I got in his car with him and went anywhere I got stupid anxiety. Like the point most people would want to get out of the car. It wasn't his driving. I never knew why. It's like I knew what was coming. Anyways crazy long story that went off topic but yeah. Crazy day. Crazy things. I'm sure it was meant to be not sure why though.

The biggest names in boxing to face kostya tszyu, we’re not the opponents with a serious threat or risk to his career achievements...rather it was the less hyped up by the media, the quietest opponents that were presented, were for kostya, the most dangerous matchups. My picks of those fighters are [1] Hector Lopez - first real American opponent which run rings around him experience-wise - Hector gave kostya tszyu a lesson on endurance. [2] Hurtado - He was one of the hardest punchers i think kostya ever faced...his hits were pretty hard and accurate. [3] German fighter named Oktay Urkal - relatively unknown as a boxer, - he took everything kostya threw at him...matched endurance round by round...good hitter, strong-mindset...not an easy fight for kostya. [4] Ben Tackie - African fighter...for pretty much the same reasons as...he absorbed a lot of hits from kostya and stayed in there round after round and ended up going the distance with him Obviously Vince Phillips and Ricky Hatton were on that list but since they were the 2 losses of his career, no need to add them to the list The matchups involving Jake Rodriguez (for IBF belt), Miguel Angel Gonzales, Sharmba Mitchell, Julio Cesar Chavez & Zab Judah we’re in my opinion easier bouts than the ones I mentioned just before them So yeah the most controversial matchups seemed to be the easiest fights (& wins) for Kostya Tszyu (although most of his fights looked to be easy for him lol) My favourite boxer, he has to be number 1 in my opinion 💥🥊🇦🇺

@@HilmarSchacht-mg2fb also I know in my post I stated that Kostya was my fave fighter, its not quite true, im just impartial because of his Australian-based career. My favourite fighter and top of my list is actually Canelo Alvarez...i've followed and favourited a good many boxers over the years but Canelo in my opinion is the best i've ever seen...and thats due to a few factors, skill obviously, his entire professional career lasting longer than most others...his avoidance technique inside the ropes is nothing short of beautiful to watch but the man's love of the sport...and the effort he puts in, still...(even when he has nothing left to prove) remains the same as a younger hungrier boxer and his heart is always 1000% inside everything he does as a fighter...that last reason alone is why he trumps so many others...honestly, I believe he is the perfect showman for the sport of boxing The man truly is "the KING"
