@@coyootje That's modern football. There's just too much money in it and so much pressure that everyone is so risk averse. The loss against Osasuna is proof of why, because about 3 of the 4 goals were down to bad defending by the young defenders alongside Cubarsi and Kounde. Young players make mistakes even if they are extremely talented. Flick is actually an outlier because unlike other managers, he isn't shortsighted in only thinking about keeping his job but understands that part of being a manager and keeping your job, is simply solving problems in front of you. In actual fact that is all he's done, he's fixed a few small tactical problems of course, but the biggest thing he's changed is the culture, when Xavi said anyone who doesn't perform will be benched and that young players will get chances, but those were only words. Flick never even made promises like those, but he actually gives everyone a fair chance and actually has the respect of the players. He also doesn't blame refs, pitches or anything else for when things don't go to plan and never throws his players under the bus.

Because the biggest football robberies of the past 15 years are all in favour of Barcelona. Chelsea 2009, Arsenal 2011, 6-1 PSG. In the same time Madrid were robbed Vs Barca many times like the 2011 UCL semi final Pepe red card and the only scandalous game was the one against Bayern, but with Barcelona you can clearly see a pattern of referee bias that surprisingly ends when the financial problems begin.

Astute observation. Win or lose, it's great that FCB is witnessing the impact of Flick's coaching style even within such a short timeframe. A good manager and perhaps more importantly a manager who knows what they are doing will show the effects on the team, it's playing style, it's philosophy, and it's general approach. That's what happens with seasoned and experienced coaches no matter how it ends. Things aren't quite the same at the old Trafford though!

In Thiago Motta we have one of the most promising young coaches and he want to play football.I mean football that you want to dial in to see and really going for the win. Yes iam Juventus supporter since like 92 and i can confess that Juventus could win in every way was one of the first things i fell in love with. Today that does not work. You need to have a mentalitet of domination. This in my opinion is why Real Madrid win so much they want to dominate and belive they can dominate everyone. Fino Alla Fine Forza Juventus

Clarify first: I'm Real Madrid fan. First and foremost, I'm really glad to see Barcelona actually starting well this season. Healthy and strong rival is better then one sided beat down. They can push each other to be and do better. Even tho they already lost 2 games this season. Against Monaco 2-1 and Osasuna 4-2. But this is only the beginning of the seasons. Season got longer, and their bench shorter. How will they play in February, and March will be season defining. Now is still the begging. Going through their finance... first, I didn't know there were so many leavers you could pull. Like wtf. Second, their transfers in the past decade are shit. What do I mean by shit? Well, comparing the rivals, from 2013/14 to 2023/24. 10 seasons. Real Madrid has negative spending per season IN the AVERAGE of -20m€. What does that mean? When you add and take players in and get out of the club. Spending and profit. Madrid in those 10 seaons spent 200m€. That's the negative. Barcelona? 500m! That's more the double the money that Madrid spent. And what of those transfers? Dembele, Coutinho, Grizzman, Arda Turan, Andre Gomes, Arthur, Pjanic, Victor Roque... how much of them actually succeeded the way it was advertised? How much of them brought to the club? Big sums of money, brought nothing, leached the paycheck, and went for pennies. Astronomical wages are also the problem. The last news I read was that Barcelona will be paying Messi paycheck until 2025... when Ronaldo asked for that amount of money, Perez sold him. Ronaldo cashed back Madrid 120m... Messi went to PSG for free. And lastly, their finances, the astronomical credit of 1.5b€. BILLLION. to renovate EVERYTHING. MADRID spent 1b... Do they need 1.5b? Really? Barcelona has huge problems and obstacles to go over right now. Even with mbappe bonuses, he is still thrid highest payed. First is De Jong, and the second is Lewandowski... Modric took 75% paycut just to stay an extra year in Madrid. It is clear that Barcelona IS NOT financially responsible. And lastly now we have the Negreira case. What if they prove that corruption existed? What will happen? Club in financial ruin, rebuilding EVERYTHING and barley able to compete on the highest level. Any punishment is hars. Throwing them out how Juve got fucked can be club ending. Deducting points, they lose a lot of money. Banning them for a year or two from European football is at least 200-300m€ less. Barcelona always will have these kind of shit problems as long they whole identity is based on hate toward Madrid. We are rivals. I don't like Barcelona, but that doesn't mean I need to hate the club. I want to enjoy good dramatic over the top football. Not spewing whatever against the rivals just because they are better or whatever. Athelthico Madrid fans, players, and staff have the same attitude. We should be united in rivalry, not kill each other.

I am a Barca fan and while I agree with a lot of what you had to say. I think you missed the point of the video, the mistakes and shortcomings of Barca are very well documented with anyone that follows football. The next couple of months will be hard because they're gonna have some tough games like Bayern or Real Madrid for example. But if they don't drop too many points in La Liga and they stay strong in UCL until the end of the year, after January the team could be a machine. It's enough time for Ansu Fati, De Jong, Gavi, Fermín López and Dani Olmo to get in the best shape, Araújo and Christensen will be back in training by December, players like Cubarsi, Domínguez, Martín, Fort and Casadó will have had more games and time to get used to high competition...and all that will make rotations a lot less dramatic.
