#1 Set up 2 computer users: one for work, one for fun. #2 Nap right: if you need a quick recharge, 10-20 minutes; if you feel groggy, 30 minutes; if you study, 60 minutes; if you missed a night's sleep, 90 minutes. Also consider the amount of time you take to fall asleep. #3 Resetting activities: Things to do during your break that serve for a better productivity. Not a passive activity that keeps you in zombie mode: go for a walk, play a soduko, call a friend, watch a funny video, exercise. #4 The right self talk: swap out future self talk for a present self talk like "today I'm gonna eat so healthy, it's going to taste so much better" and not "I'll lose 30 pounds in the next few month". In addition, make it specific with objectives and numbers and dates. #5 Know your rhythm: are you a morning person? When are you better checking email? When are you better with loads of information? Make a list of all the different skills, activities you do throughout the day, and write your favorite time to do them. Then track your process and write down what you feel during each activity.

So people with thyroid issues are often more "alive/awake" at night. I cleaned up my diet over a period of time. My Dr helped identify an electrolyte deficiency so I was able to stay awake more. I now have energy throughout a day...functioning on keto diet and Emergen-C supplements etc; learning hormone supportive foods.
