Incredible bunch of musicians, even though the group changed over the years they kept their great sound. Forty years and they look clean, pressed and look at the shine on those shoes. Professional all the way. Glad we have the music they are leaving behind.

Srdeční záležitost pro kluka v CZ republic v years 1974. I am Born in the years 1959. I listening Smokie v Jukebox. Tenkrát best for me. A teď slyším version very, very old fromn The Searchers. Myslel jsem, že Smokie jsou original song. But i l love Smokie forever.

C Fong, The Deluxe Nashville Telecaster also has 3 pickups, which is what you’ll see on most SSS Stratocasters, except the Deluxe Nashville Telecaster has a Pau Ferro or rosewood fingerboard.

It's still falls massively into the merseybeat era but there was a lot of songs in a pool that Scouse bands would perform, like the Beatles with twist and shout, Anna etc

It's still not as good without Mike Pender... and even Tony Jackson ... Always hard to top the orginal line up. A few bands have but not many..

Veekator, I would also say the same thing about the Tremeloes, when Alan Blakley died back in ‘96, and with the recent passing of Dave Munden back in October 2020 and also The Fortunes, with almost all of the original members gone (those being Rod Allen, Glen Dale, Barry Pritchard, and David Carr).
I’d think they are mining instruments to a track but the vocals are live

Tony Jackson died 11 years after this gig in 2003, and Chris Curtis died in 2005. Billy Adamson died in 2013. Little is known about John Blunt after he left the Searchers.

Spencer James in the group wasnt an original but he was a saving grace as he was in the searchers longer than mike pender himself, the searchers would not be able to put on a show if Mike was still there in 2019 voice completely worn out but Spencer can still hit all the notes

I think that's Frank Allen who replaced Tony Jackson who passed as well as Chris Curtis, lost track of Pender and McNally
