I hope Nigerians, especially younger ones, listen to you Dr Apoki. I was in social media recently and a Nigerian, who lives in Nigeria, was complaining about the high cost of pepper. I told the person that, although I live in Australia, we do not buy pepper in my house. We grow pepper, okro, bitter leaf, green and ugu etc in our garden, here in Australia. Although I am a medical doctor, if I return to Nigeria today, I will go into farming and Nigeria has a big market for it. There are more than 200 Million people to feed and you can make a fortune. Every body wants to jappa but there is lot of potential wealth under their noses. Just be creative, humility, frugality and living within your means and slowly investing, over the years, the powerful force of compound interest will make you rich. You get to a point when you make lot of money even when you are sleeping. Keep the good work doc.

They will ask you why you also 'jappad' . Every young Nigerian's dream is to run away, even Professionals are running to go start life from sqaure 1 abroad. Unfortunately, very few young ones think this deep, quick money is all that matters.

@@Chuwalker it's not that easy for am average Nigerian with probably not so marketable degree, from a poor background to make it to the top in Nigeria. It's especially difficult in 2024. Only a few people are capable of being entrepreneurs and even fewer will be lucky enough to succeed. The man that typed from Australia didn't think of agriculture for survival when he was in Nigeria, till he got to Australia, why? 😂 I'm not very japa inclined but the opportunities in the western world is hard to resist and is a much safer/secure choice for those risk averse.

@@georgebright7541 I totally agree bro. I wish it was easier for people back home. But regardless, there is no effort in trying. Everybody cannot make it to the top in reality. Just to make efforts and live a good life that would be largely independent of government economic wahala.
