While it is a bit hard to listen to the TtS voice this has been quite informative. I didnt even know about the second effect the vertical stabilizer provides. I quite like this style of video

This is an excellent video which leads the viewer nicely to the current holy grail of reducing airframe drag by reducing the drag from the vertical stabiliser. It briefly describes the use of proverse yaw generated by careful control of the spanwse lift distribution of the wing to allow clean banked turns using the elevons without having to use excess drag devices to reduce adverse yaw. It then points us in the direction of all the pioneering work of NASA in this field where a lot more information is available. Brilliant stuff.

I found this video very informative and well explained. I do plan on building an RC model plane with sweptback wings and this helps a lot. I do prefer the looks of tilted vertical stabs/rudders on my planes similar to the SR-71 but your explanations are very useful to me. Thank you.

Great video. Explains everything very well. Thanks. Now I know how flying wing planes can fly without a vertical stabilizer.

Max, Great video. I just picked up the Powerup 3.0 and Dart. I will be working on a this very topic. and plan to build a Prandlt-D wing for this scale. I agree with Austin Davis on the "How To" vids. same with the Wright Flyer. I plan to use this platform to get my boys into flying. the tip of ~20g AUW is such big help.

The wing tip flaps are called adding reflex to the wing speeding up the airflow under the wing in comparison to the center. This lowers the stall point of the tips in comparison to the center increasing directional stability.

On bombinb runs the B2 actually puts down the wing flaps and uses differental propulsion to control yaw.

Very interesting. I have no problem with the synthesized voice. I have been thinking of trying to modify a Flite Test Mini Arrow to make it like a B2.

You failed to recreate the dihedral effect due to the " Flow through" design nacelles. The designer was too bright judging by those inefficient flaps and ratio of length to width

It's a very clever wing design. It must have taken a genius a lot of thought & testing to realize all of the dynamics involved in such a design...

This is a very good video packed with useful information, however the artificial voiceover is not pleasant and personally I'd rather struggle with a strong accent (maybe with subtitles) rather than the harsh digital voice and I'm sure it will result in more views since many people probably skip the video when they hear the voice - I very nearly skipped and I'm pleased that I didn't. Excellent video and information, thanks for sharing it!
