Remember, Bradberton was the same dude who sent agents to pre war Bar Harbor to attack the Vim! factory and sabotage their vending machines, going so far as one agent firing a rocket launcher at the factory around the time the bombs dropped on America.
@jacobfreeman5444

You should have told the reason for sending the agent(to force VIM! to sell to him. He is infamous for forcing people to sell their recipes and businesses to him) and there is some evidence the agent decided to go so far as guerilla tactics on their own initiative. It was just so strangely effective Bradburton had no reason to reign the agent in. I mean, you would think at some point even corrupt police would demand too much in bribes to make it worthwhile yet no such problem ever occurred.

Yeah as nasty as Bradberton was I still chose to shutdown the machine keeping him alive. Keeping him suspended like that was just cruel. They might've fixed it later, but by then I had become so disgusted I just didn't want to play anymore. But I also realized I really didn't need to. Interesting thought, with you pointing out he was building a robot army upgrading them with his own tech it reminds me of house and how much bradburton knew before the bomb

Considering how we know Eddie Winter survived the bombs I’m surprised Bradburten didn’t look into that life extending technology, since a man of his position should easily have known about the ghoulification process that winter went through
@Bird-wz7nx

But ghouls are icky! Seriously though, I think this supports the theory Bradburten may have actually been sick in some way. this, in addition to him rushing the immortality process. That, or he knew when the bombs would fall.

dont forget 76's lore. Cobalt flux and cobalt ultracite (i believe anerobic exposed ultracite) is a major lore boost to all of this. On top of sam coe having that necklace of the same material, and now in recent updates talking about how his grandfather made a grav drive prior to victor aiza. I believe eventually the lore between the two will cross over especially after the pylon v-13 fiasco, and pilgrim talking about how "none of them made it here." pylon v-13 has 6 beds and 5 corpses. And if you go to old mold quarry you'll find Ultracite mine carts and rail carts being moved northenly that either got flooded by raiders, or the kovac muldoon. I believe the next gen update for this is gonna have tie ins to this and the tv show.

Interesting that the story changed now that Mr. Disney Cola there is the victim of a bad trade offer from the general now that he's facing consequences. As though we didn't find an actual voice recording of him being the one to throw weight around for the deal 😂

I’m confused why his treasure quest isn’t understood to be his way of keeping himself entertained by a steady stream of sycophantic fan visitors, after the procedure? It would perfectly explain the slapdash way it was put together, as well as why such a busy man would make himself available.. once he realized what he was going to have to do, he put it together to have *something*.. but then the bombs fell.

I left Bradberton alive personally and used a secret technique passed down my family line known as tcl to get the Nuka Nukes as I think having a raving fangirl is the worst fate he could have gotten because I want the rich to suffer in a hell of their own creation.

Yeah I found the isolation he put himself in really weird. Maybe House's technology was more advanced?

A great line for when the player meets Bradberton would be, “Darn, I thought I would forever hold the world record for the worlds oldest living popsicle.”

I think the Quantum is used to dilute the alloy used in the outer or all layers of the armor which reduces weight and drag and thus making it less strenuous on the mechanicals and by extension the fusion core while still being the giant power armor we know from Fallout 4 because Bethesda will never give us the Fallout equivalent of MJOLNIR armor

Not really one to post these mopey comments but, I've been going through a dark time in my life and seeing this in my sub box and gave me a genuine smile for the first time in a good while. From not being able to find a job to losing my best friend's father to opening the new year in the ER, it's been a REALLY rough 2024. I never understood the "youtuber videos helped me" thing, but I think I genuinely get it now. I'm gonna guilt myself over typing this, but man, you really have reinvigorated my hope. Thank you nth. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
