How is it patented, the technology is literally everywhere

It's only patented in certain countries. Outside those countries, companies are free to do whatever.

Sorry, no sale. My own Secrid wallet is gathering dust on some shelf. I bought it mostly because I liked the clever lever, but in my front trouser pocket it turned out to be too bulky and too heavy. When it damaged the Victorinox Swiss card in the same pocket, that was the end. I now happily use the smaller, lighter i-clip, which, as an added bonus, makes insertion/removal of paper money much easier.

Thanks for the feedback. That’s interesting to hear it was too tight for your front pocket. I wear skinny jeans and it fits comfortably. What damaged your card? The lever?

@@bry0000000 Bulky: this feeling may have been agravated by the contrast to "card only"; the card is so thin and light that I have to check to be sure it's there. The Secrid weighs more than twice as much even when empty, and puts enough pressure against my thigh that I definitely know if it's there. (I can't reliably feel the I-clip). The lever? Possibly - I can't really tell; about two weeks after buying the Secrid, the corner where the small pen resides had a crack, and when I removed the pen, a triangular bit of plastic fell off. Luckily, Victorinox is one of those companies with a good warranty policy. For 4€ p&p (and six weeks waiting) I could have it sent to Switzerland for repair, even though it had clearly sustained mechanical damage.

I don't put this wallet in my pocket but just clip it horizontally on my belt😊

Yeah just got one of these today and first push of the lever and it stuck wide open. I’ll stick to the traditional bi-fold. Keep your scams

What does "keep your scams" mean? Sorry yours didn't work out...
