Crocs? Hey Dudes? Overpriced Monster Cables? So many turds...can't flush fast enough. LOL! But seriously...lots of folks claiming they're products are superior quality...and many fall flat on their faces. On my end, I was hesitant to give Grant Stones a try because they're made in China, but I got a pair of Diesel Boots and they rocked...so much so, that I bought several more pairs from them. Also, I haven't seen you cover boot socks. The two brands I really like are from Darn Tough and Camel City Mill. Lifetime and Ten Year warranty. I haven't had to use the warranty, but most folks claim they have no issues getting them replaced without receive. Still, I keep all the receipts handy. Gotta have a nice Merino Wool socks with the boots IMO.

Hi Jim, you must be clairvoyant. I am preparing a video on high quality socks coming soon--those two are on the list!

Sucks about the Aventus body wash. That M moto jacket does look quite good though. 😉 Btw, do you think it would be possible to EQ out those audio inconsistencies in the shotgun mics in post?

Thanks! On the mics, yeah I could use a parametric EQ and find the frequencies that don't sound right and change them. But since there are so many different mics around similar price points, I think that's a futile endeavor. It's easier to just find the right mic for you, and that way if you need to EQ for some reason, it's always a small move here or there. Plus the shotgun mic that I landed right now (the Rode NTG) has a few more quality of life features that make it easier to use. It is rechargeable, can use USB out, has a battery indicator light, and even powers off when the camera turns off. Those made it a lot more attractive for me. I still think it's not the "perfect" mic for my voice, but it sounds very good, and doesn't annoy me with certain frequencies that irritate me.
