Being a Goan living in US the cooking style of the Siddi's reminds me of Goa. Really miss my home cooked Goan food prepared by my Mom. Siddi's speaking Konkani language brought a smile to my face. God bless the Siddi's..

Rekha K, in my opinion not all Africans are good in sports. It depends on the diet, the lifestyle and the particular genes. They are more Indian than they are africans. They performed well not beacuse they are from Africa but the fact that they had rural lifestyle also adds to their strength than most people.

I love the Siddis. Had never heard of them before. But it’s nice knowing they are a part of us. I was surprised hearing them speak Konkani. Well I’m from Goa, but could understand the Mangalorean Konkani they spoke. Love them. Thank you so much, it’s because of you many people know them now.

I am from Ethiopia. I came to know them through one Prof. from Bombay while we were in train . I am in Assam and went to Goa for visit . I am not sure how much Indians and Africans themselves know this Siddi Community !

Thank you for this documentary. There are major tribes in Arunachal Pradesh as well, who have flourished from Bangladesh and has no recognition. They live the same lifestyle as them. So natural and so raw.

I have just found this channel. Very educational and enlightening. I will be sharing this videos with family and friends who too, are not aware of the Siddis. I applaud you and your channel to highlighting these peoples plight to be recognised as Indians. I am from the Caribbean of Indian heritage but currently residing in UK. I have just visited the Gambia in Africa my next trip to India hopefully.
