That’s what I remember about fall tillage, cold windy days, being thankful for a cab to escape the wind. Keep grinding OFB, enjoying the vids.💪🏻🇺🇸💪🏻

We run a 4-175 with a 9 shank Case chisel plow handles it well. I enjoy watching the old silver bullets work. Thanks for sharing

Looked to me like the ground conditions were very good for chisel plow tillage, good moisture and not too much. The ground was breaking up very nicely. That engine has a great sound to people like myself that enjoy engine sounds under load. I don't often comment, but view most of your content, so keep it coming! Nick, North West Farmer (Oregon)

I'm afraid I'm getting soft, cause my first thought was that I could molboard plow outside in the cold, or chisel in the cab,lol. Getting wimpy in my old age I guess. Back in my day, the only thing we had with a cab was the gleaner combine. Our case combine didn't have a cab nor did any of our tractors. I still miss the smell of fresh turned soil. That would have been terrible with the wind blowing the way it was.

Does your ground level out pretty good by spring ? I have a white 435 11 shank with s tine leveling teeth and a Buster bar.goes through trash really well and does a better job than neighbors brand new ones.leaves it decently level.have you ever thought about adding something on yours ? Love your videos by the way

When you chisel plows in the fall does that help get moisture down into the soil? For the spring.
@Oliver66FarmBoy

I think you're supposed to put the lime on first and then till to work the lime in now you're gonna have all kinds of soil compaction when you drive over that with the lime spreader
@Oliver66FarmBoy

You don’t pay attention very good do you? I haven’t worked any of the ground that’s getting lime yet. I’m not stupid. I love it when people leave dumb comments like this thinking I’m just out here winging this with absolutely no clue what I’m doing.
