The simplest bread recipe like from a Polish home.
I give a simple recipe for two large, but simple breads
- 1 kilogram of flour
- glasses of wheat (or wholemeal bran) or oat flakes
- 2-3 tablespoons of non-iodized salt
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 25 grams of fresh yeast or 7 grams of dried yeast
- liter of hot water
- a few tablespoons of oil or olive oil
Mix, knead lightly, leave for about 20-30 minutes to rise. Transfer to two forms smeared with oil and sprinkled with bran. Leave to rise for another 15 minutes.
Put in the oven preheated to 200-220 degrees Celsius. Put a small container of water at the bottom of the oven. Bake for 20 minutes with hot air with top / bottom heating. After 20 minutes, turn off the upper heater. Bake for another 30 minutes.
