For everyone who is thinking about learning how to TIG aluminum, pay for the course. I did and my welding quality went up by 10 fold. Aaron does an excellent job in his instructional video. It is well worth the time because it drops your learning curve in half if not more. I occasionally go back through the course to get back to basics and to keep my hand in it.

I'd love an AC/DC TIG machine but the cost of these and the gas supply kind of put it out of reach for the home DIY person here in the UK at least, I have gasless MIG and ARC welders though.

Got a question say I have 2 diffent style welder like I have an old limcoln 250 idealarc welder and a htp invertig 221 can u buy one tig button and just buy the lincoln plug and the htp plug and use one button on either welder or do u need 2 buy one for each welder

When welding small jobs/parts/projects, do you always use an aluminium base plate? I just use my steel table. Am i missing something? I do have dedicated tools for aluminum only. I guess Im likely introducing contaminants from the steel bench😮

Oh crap I just saw it’s listed ! A few years back I was gonna get one and it wasn’t listed. Thanks man ordering tongiht WOOOOT no more using my fking head as a foot on the pedal while welding under cars and such 😂 (or the wife to step on the pedal which never goes well)
