The Skye Trail on the Isle of Skye is an 80 mile multi day hike through some of the most breathtaking scenery Scotland has to offer. The trail is often unmarked and precarious, it's also exposed to the ever changing weather so experience in hiking and navigation is essential.
Note that I had decided to try the route in reverse walking from South to North which I feel is the best way to actually tackle the route.
My Approx Route Info:
Day 1 - Broadford to Elgol (21.20 miles)
Day 2 - Elgol to Sligachan (14.30 miles)
Day 3 - Sligachan to Old Man of Storr (21.35 miles)
Day 4 - Old Man of Storr to Loch Finish Point (19.50 miles)
Note that I was only (7 miles) walk from the official end point which I could have finished that morning had I chosen to keep walking.
