One of most endearing things about The Small Faces is they never took themselves too seriously. They were always having a laugh and left the pretentious stuff to other bands of the time.... And yet they still came out with some iconic 60s gems. One of my favourites.

I was about 14 years when the Small Faces gave a concert at the "Vestlandhalle" at Recklinghausen, Germany. After an overwhelming performance they had some water spread all over them just to cool down and to refresh themselves a little. Some of the water drops reached the audience, among others some young beauties. They where out of their mind and at those spots, where a water drop had hit their skin they drawed small hearts with a pen directly on their skin. Incredible to imagine that most of those beautiful young ones now are grand mams.

When you're listening to music like this and you're a kid or in your teens (like I was at the time), you simply enjoy it, but when you're much older and hopefully wiser and look back, you realise how good such as the Small Faces were; we just took them all for granted back then. One of my favourite songs of the 60's. Never minded, as a child, being buckled up in my Dad's car if he had this on his mix tape.

Any time I want to forget what the world is today, I come here and remember how it was in 67/68. Those who didn't get to be there really did miss out.
