It’s not the house you’re paying for. I guarantee you who ever is buying this home is knocking that house down. It’s the big lot of land it on. You can easily build a 4-5000 sqft home on that lot that already has water and electricity hook ups. That little home is there to show it has all the necessities it needs to build a bigger home.

It technically might be because of the land. I don't know about this one in particular, but if it's in Delray Beach, it'll be the main reason why it's so expensive. If this was built anywhere else, its price might've been around 100 or 150, although that is an over estimation

What's a crime is how all housing has jumped 500% in price. In 1972, a small cape cod house, three bedroom one bath in a private beach neighborhood cost $17,000. It was sold in 1990 for $250,000 and now is going for 1.2 million. No add ons, no rennivations. The same house but for a very different price. Even considering inflation and money value, its still overpriced. This is why offspring have to move away from their childhood homes. The price of housing is so bad, very few families can afford to buy.

And 102 m^2 ain't small at all for a family of 4, it's great! You don't need more. In fact, most families with 2-3 kids live in 80 square meters. For $120,000 my sister bought a two story, 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath house with a garage and a full sized yard. It had central air etc. But our mansions here are cheap, my buddy is selling his house for under $800,000 and its a 5 bedroom, 1 office, 3.5 bathrooms, mostly finished basement, inground pool, tall Victorian style ceilings. It was built in the late 1800s. 2nd house built in my city by the founder of the city.
