I bought a little bit of Nike at 75 and now it’s at 85. Nike is not as cool as it once was but a leader like Nike can quickly pivot and I do believe Nike will. No big giant like Nike goes down without a bit of a fight, it’s a 50-50 thing right ? But the upside is much larger than the downside given how cheap the stock is , remember Buffets famous quote “when others are fearful be greedy, when others are greedy be fearful”. People are fearful to buy Nike. But u need strong conviction to buy this while the rest of the market is going gaga about Hoka or other Brand’s. Hey I think odds are 2:1 here at the bare minimum given the cheap price, I’ll take this bet also because I wear their basketball shoes and they are miles better than my old Adidas ones!!

I think they were onto something with coal, China is building 2 new coal fired power stations every week, that's over 100 per year! India is building 1 every 2 weeks. Coal is the cheapest form of energy the world has, yes the industrialised countries that can afford it are moving to greener energy, but there are a large amount of poor countries trying to industrialise and coal is the cheapest form of energy - at the moment.

*I already own shares of TSLA, NVDA and APPL as well. Sure, I don't mind having these equities sit around for a while, but I'd also like to appreciate short-term opportunities that could fetch $200,000 or less.*

Great video! I found this new format much more interesting and helpful. To be honest, I normally skip through the “Top 5” quarterly videos, just to get the names, but for this video I wanted to hear your take on the story behind each purchase/sell.

Hey Brandon! I think trying new video format ideas is always a fun way to change it up -- honestly, I didn't even notice anything different from your previous videos (granted I've only been subbed a couple months), but I think as long as your videos are finance or stock related, your audience will thoroughly enjoy it regardless; make videos you find most interesting! Love your stuff, keep it coming.

You spoke about the selling in Google shares by many investors but not their recent antitrust issues as a potential reason why some investors are reducing their stake / taking profits. Nevertheless, great video!

Some conversations about the ASX would be nice. You’re alienating Australian investors. I understand you want to reach out to 330m people abroad, but don’t forget many watch from Australia too.

I just watched a Patrick Boyle video about why steel is so cheap now and how everyone’s moving to arc-furnaces rather than coal-powered blast furnaces; I don’t see the coal play paying off big, though I doubt they lose any money either.

Stories are good, but I think I prefer the previous format a bit better. Top 5 buys, and knowing also the top sells as an aside was great information. The only issue with it was that big companies tended to dominate because they’re well… bigger.

Great vid, I've been tracking the met coal play. Pabrai avg. price is 155 usd for ARCH. The price is at 136 usd right now. ARCH and CONSOL have a planned merger subject to share holder approval. Do ARCH shareholders stand to benefit from this merger, hence the Q2 buys from Pobrai and Spier?

Hi Brandon, great video as always. Interestingly listening to Buffett large position in treasury bills, could you do a video on that and how that's changed over time with Berkshire. I'm interested in how Buffett balances out this with his large returns overtime considering Treasury's do not provide the large return, more or less, stability. Thank you.

JD and BABA including Baidu to a certain extent are facing tougher competition than their US counterpart. My prediction is PDD will take the e-commerce throne. Baidu's current moat isn't as strong as 10-15 years ago. Plus the uncalculatable political risk from the CCP led by Xi is too significant. The question is are investors comfortable holding Chinese tech stock for a long period of time?
