Call me weird but, in the Brawl days i never was into competitive scene. But when Smash 4 was around the corner, i use to watch a tone of Salty Smash Clip Compilations and that makes me laugh. And this is how i begin to enter the Smash competitive scene.

As someone who watched a lot of Smash salt compilations, they've made me think twice before getting angry over a video game. Like, really, it's just a game, and just because you lost a match doesn't mean you're bad at the game. You just need more practice. As for my salt story, there was this one time on vanilla Sonic Robo Blast 2 version 2.0 where I was going against this player named Root. While we we're on Egg Rock Zone Act 2, we were racing to see who would get to the end of the level. It started off with Root going down the left path, which was much slower than the path on the right, the latter I took. While Root was halfway through the left path, I had already reached the end of the stage, and just after touching the Exit Sector, I was crowned the winner of the race. Root got all upset and banned me from his server for 5 minutes. When I rejoined, he then proceeded to make excuses about how I "broke" ERZ2 instead of accepting the fact he took the slow path. A second instance of this occurred during a race Root and I had on Deep Sea Zone Act 2 in SRB2 version 2.1. We were closely matched for most of the race, but as soon as he and I got to the end of the level together, I beat him by five *milliseconds.* Root, once again, got extremely salty and kicked me out of the server. Not only that, he turned joins off. It annoys me to no end when people refuse to admit they need to practice more at something, but instead rationalize on why they lost.

Exactly, it's important to realize that it's okay to lose sometimes.
