I have the little 20 inch model and works good for my needs however the handle and pole keep falling off the shovel. Is their like a bolt or a screw I need?

This shovel will work great for 4 inches or less. However, it will also work well for heavier snow if you're able to clear every couple of hours or less. Of course, that can only happen if you're home for much of the day. Cool, handy shovel nonetheless.

How deep was the snow in the video? I'm trying to decide between the Snow Plow 48 and the Snowcaster 48.

Go one way left and then come back the other way is just moving it to the same direction. Think what you want is to go along center to the right or left and you get more equal amount of snow drift either side. For me I got a wonky walkway and landlord does what he can manage with the driveway with limited space to pile snow with a loader with the amount of snow we often get. As good a landlord he can be with also managing his autobody shop.

How is the connection between the blade and handle? Is it sturdy?

It can handle wet up to 3 inches just fine so long as you can handle it yourself, you would be surprised how strong and long lasting UHMW-PE is and has extremely low friction coefficient.

Yeah. Alot of "men" who aren't strong enough to handle a shovel this size say the same thing. Usually overweight, as wellm

Thanks for sharing. The 48" looks like a beast. I just got the 36" & could not imagine a bigger one but from your video it looks like it works if the snow is not too deep. I was finding 4" was the max I could do. Here is mine in action kzitem.info/news/bejne/mqyVuKB7gmSXhWk

I have changed the way I use it since this video. I to go for 4" sections at a time. By doing that I can handle deep snow with no problem. And by deep I mean Missouri deep so 7 - 8 inches. I can clear my driveway in 15 mins.

As you seen here compared to the caster which takes a few second to flip to reverse direction of drifting/windrowing and the added chassis and wheels and dual handle, this is a better choice as its lighter, less costly and you can easily angle it just as well so long as you go in the direction you're windrowing in.
